Geovanni412: Brilliant. Super helpful. You are obviously quite experienced with this. I will look these up and reach out. Thanks brother |

Geovanni412: Quick money? That’s not the intention… With inter breweries - will my investment lose its value ? For example in the US, Amazon stocks have been quite resilient and over the years. Increase in Value… stocks that have been doing well in the market will be preferable for beginners in the Nigerian market. Separately, how do you trade ? Is there like an app that you can recommend? Or you use brokers. |

Does anyone know how and what sort of stocks to buy / thinking about value increasing? Thinking of naira investments of between 500k to 1m for a start. I can afford some level of risk / just not sure how people go about doing it. Practical recommendations will be welcome / not conjecture pls. Thanks |

GeneralPula: You know the man too - he is such a joke. He has been writing to the FBI and US Government asking for disclosure of criminal information on Asiwaju. The US government will never meddle in the internal politics of the greatest black nation on earth - especially now that they need allies. They keep pushing an Obi Agenda forgetting that a case is in Court which is very unlikely to succeed because the infractions in some state in that election is not enough to for the voting numbers differences or overturn the election. It’s difficult for people to see the truth when they are fixated on an idea in the air - but the US will never speak against Tinubu unless a Nigerian court declares otherwise. 2 Likes |

Ekiti governors are always very hands-on. Stuffs like these are handled by commissioner for education or some other senior member of the education ministry.

lhordspy: I agree. That judgement is delivered per incuriam. As long as the NBC Act has empowered it to regulate the industry - it cannot have recourse to the court and enforcemenft agencies every time it wants to investigate noncompliance, impose sanctions and exercise its function. That’s a rubbish judgement and should be upturned on appeal. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

virginboy1: Many of those real estate projects you see (including those IN Abuja) are whitewashing for illicit funds such as fraud, corruption and drugs. Unfortunately, the Government is turning a blind eye to this trend. May God help the common man. Just do you bit and pray for God to make life easy for you and your family 2 Likes |

Hmmm But can someone educate me as to why people prefer to bury their dead in cemetery though? Mostly rich folks. I’d have thought they should prefer their own homes or family homes which is more secure and respectable. 1 Like |

SmartPolician: See @Clevite reply for your information. It’s very good to understand a bit of law before you comment on legal issues. First of all, this is not yet their defence. This is just a Preliminary Objection to get the case dismissed on point of law. They are yet to respond to the substantive issues of the Petition as filed by Peter Obi. Wait until they respond to Shettima's qualification, Tinubu's drug, 25% at FCT and rigging issues. Be sure APC may file Cross-petition to challenge Obi's results in South East too. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Clevite: You know the Law! Well said! The preliminary objections are quite punchy - sammarily: 1. Peter Obi does not have locus to contest the election and bring the petition at all; 2. failure to add Atiku/PDP to the petition is a huge miss, as PO can’t be declared winner if at all he is successful without first discountenancing Atiku’s votes; 3. no pleadings on polling units disruptions individually; and 4. PO’s petition is fraught with pre-election matters - and the Tribunal itself does not have jurisdiction to hear the matter. Law is interesting! Let’s see how this place out and watch out for the Defence & potential cross petition. 22 Likes |

Depends on the type of work you do…. If you do corporates - most likely you will be expected to work weekends/late nights. Of course, there are benefits to these - such as extra bonus for volume/value of transactions you closed in a financials year - in addition to it looking good on your end of year appraisal/promotion. That said, it is always helpful to set boundaries and provide your team with information if you have commitments that will make you unavailable! |

Zonefree: It’s not entirely bad - if the facility employs staff and Students studying food tech / bakery related courses. There might be an argument that it provides hands on experience for the students whilst helping to generate funds. I think what’s unacceptable is monopolising the bread market in the School. That’s anti-competitive and the FCC may consider this illegal. 26 Likes 4 Shares |

SmartPolician: This comparison is incorrect and is generally a slippery slope. The UK is a largely homogeneous society - whereas Nigeria has over 250 ethnic groups, all divided over ethnic, political and religious lines. UK leaders are selected by Parties, not directly by the electorates as applicable in Nigeria. Less room for politicians to exploit people’s sentiments. It won’t take Nigeria 1 million years… we each have to do our parts and be optimistic for the future. |

Isobug: Do you understand what locus mean in Law? Bing ai search would be helpful for you but suffice to say that LP does not have Locus on this line of prayer. Moreover, that sort of matter is a pre-election matter Nd would hardly qualify as a reason to remove a candidate with the majority vote. You can check the grounds under which a candidate may bring a post-election petition in the Electoral Act. Only relevant issues to raise is the irregularities alleged against the election: Failure to use electronic machines to polling station results, which could allow for vote tampering. Discrepancies between the photo evidence of vote counts and the actual results ed to INEC’s portal. Violence and voter intimidation in some areas, especially in the south-south and south-east regions. Delays and technical problems in opening some polling centers and counting votes. Manipulation of votes and collation of results in favor of the ruling party. And the numbers decripancies! Every other matter alleged in PO’s petition have been decided & overflogged severally in Courts, even by Obasanjo & Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory, since 1999 / and judicial precedent will largely apply here. 1 Like |

hrykanu231: I am a lawyer - and one of the things they teach in the Law school is the fundamental rights enshrined in the 1999 constitution. One of these is Freedom of speech and expression- under which you and anyone else can comment on any matter. This freedom is not, however, absolute - especially regarding an ongoing matter in the court. Media trial is generally frowned upon because it has a way of prejudicing the court trial. Nevertheless - if you are quite confident about the petition - you should have nothing to worry about. I have only said that the Drug related case has been in court plenty of times in the past and have failed. You can also see letter from the FBI/US embassy below. Mind you - I am not speaking in of Tinubu.I have just noted points of law in response to your comments.
