Thanks for your response Boss,

I understand it’s almost impossible to charge your battery up to that Voltage.
I am only referring to the charging voltage by the controller. My controller is set to 18V for the charging voltage, and when my battery hits 14.6V, it’s full, I change the settings to let it float at 13.5V.

But the question is, the charging voltage being set at 17V or 18V (which charges the battery faster), is it ok or am I damaging the battery without knowing it?

Unless you take a seat beside it and check till your battery gets to 14. whatever, then disconnect.

Thanks Boss,
Yeah, that’s what my inverter does for me, once the battery is full, my inverter starts beeping, then I change the settings to a customized profile that allows the battery float at 13.5V.

Just a quick question Guys.

Please is it recommended to set your charging voltage at around 17V to 18V for a 12.8V battery?

If no, what are the repercussions. Thanks.

Wtf, no.

Nothing above 15v should be going through a 12v battery at all.

I saw someone talk about getting an hybrid inverter with solar s for use only in the afternoon and later get battery when he gets more funds.

Any danger or disadvantage of this pls?

What happens when there's sudden cloud cover and your output drops lower than your load?

Not ideal. Get a battery, even if it's a small one that can at least offer that for when there are sharp drops in irradiance.

From DISCUSSION STAGE you should have understood that this guy is either a QUACK INSTALLER or he hasn't done any installation since 2 years ago and you shouldn't have reached the GIVE ME QUOTATION STAGE.

The weather lately is just showing me the reason why I should get a bigger battery bank while my bank is showing me otherwise.

Not sure PV is connected to that set up.

Look at the inverter closely, you Wont see any PV in there...

He also label it as powerbank..

More like use light charge and discharge.. 😂 🤣

For ecoflow, Google query will return a more robust for you.
Meanwhile, you have asked a similar question here before and you have been extensively lectured about what determine charge and discharge rate.

Good day everyone

There is this question i want to ask. Is there a difference between the sine wave produced by our petrol generators and the wave produced by msw inverters?

What current wave form do our normal generators produce?

Thanks for your reply
