There are medical solutions to it. It's no longer a death threat. Bone marrow transplant is one of it, just that it costs a lot.

Alternatively, to those who have faith like a mustard seed, God can either change it or make you survive it and live a normal life with it, devoid of crisis. My technician,an ibo man from orlu in imo state is a sickler. He's well over 50 years old now. You can't even notice he's suffering from it.
.
He spends one hour daily praying specially for his health. He's been doing that for decades . He's never been transfused. He's also a pastor.

I was just wondering if Nigerians are still eating pounded yam?

The price of yam will just weak you.

Normal size 9k-10k i just weak.
And if you ask those illiterates ing tinubu why things are so hard, they'd tell you Nigeria is now living it's real status , that Nigeria was operating fake and patch-patch economy in the past. But back then,we were rated largest economy in africa based in our gdp. Today, we're 4th in africa. They're so dumb

the owner own kc gaming, and a club in portugal, they well funded and well run as well.
Wow! Nice. Cos I've always been hearing of the club for good reasons. I learnt the owner also have a football academy at remo. This is what we've been talking about. All we need are resources and the enabling environment.

There was a time I watched a documentary on al alhy of Egypt and esperance of Tunisia. Those countries don't behave like africa jare. Why won't they always lead ?

This club is really trying. They need to be well-funded. NFF won't come and pick players from among them now. They'd be running after those playing in Europe who can buy a jersey for 5k usd each. Awon ole.

The silent performer. I was in the state recently. I com go to ekiti from there. My vehicle see sheghe from efon alaaye junction down to aramoko as if the 2 states weren't in same region or country. One is governed by pdp while the other, a newspaper publicity apologist is an apc governor who's busy campaigning for a second term when the indigenes are daily experiencing road mishaps as a result of bad road.

Animals should not be intentionally killed during armed conflict. They should be protected as much as possible, and any harm should be minimized
That's the way all these Arabs think and behave. They're always irrational

Leave tori. Is seyi Tinubu's father a poor man? Wey dey arrange olosho in group from outside? See, don't trust these politicians. You'd see soludo as he always wears one clothe, making his state believe he's not eating money, na lie. Only their children can expose them. They can't control that. You can't hide truth forever so, stop defending these people.

The only few I can defend among them are Obi and Ambode

Only God will judge them for that illicit act thank God the baby was rescued from the wolves in human skin.
A man with a hunch back is being abused for not straightening what he's carrying on his head and he said, before you judge me, look at my body first and see if it's straight.

If the owner of the baby is seeing food to eat, she won't thread that path. Though what she did was an abomination, I still blame our leaders. Kidnappers, ritualists beheading girls for money, armed robbers, yahoo boys, etc, are products of bad leaders. With a good leader in place, the woman would be empowered such that she'll be able to take care of the baby instead of selling it.

No be everybody like you fit endure hardship. Instead of taking to such vices, some people prefer committing suicide and leaving the baby behind. There's so much hardship in the land

This istration is cursed, no doubt. Sadly, they're all planning for 2027 election that's still 2 years away. They don't care about the masses. What happened in Samaria of old is repeating itself in a country flowing with milk and honey but only a few is sitting on them, while the enslaved 2k collectors on social media are busy defending them for their daily bread . I hope those who returned due to patriotism are not regretting already. Those who failed to return should work for some time and bring home investment opportunities. When you travel overseas and you know what you're doing, your orientation changes, you'd also be open to opportunities which aren't available here but needed the most. It's not good to remain in Nigeria when you have the opportunity to travel and change your environment to learn what others are doing and tap into same.

Good morning. Hope you do fine.

I am 39. Finished secondary school 2004, first degree 2011.

My primary school teachers marked steps and gave us very good listening ears. Same with the secondary ones too

My university Maths lecturers all marked steps with prudence, unless one Cameroon man who said the answer cannot be right if the working is wrong. Bad of him anyway.

Well, I agree your experiences might be different. What i meant in my earlier post was that a Professor of Maths should be of the experience level of checking steps in Maths. Only for cases where such a person made it there by the hanki packi means

Hmmm....it's been nice chatting with you.
Thanks
Thanks for your kind response. Obviously from your age, you wrote WASSCE. Step-by-step marking of maths started a few years after the formation of WASSCE in 1989. I wrote WAEC and during our time, the body was very strict with marking scheme. They became flexible with time, to favour some educationally disadvantaged regions.

As you can see, they're now allowed to also use a calculator. I'm not sure you guys used calculator cos it was introduced not too long ago. Before our set, there was nothing like mathematical and statistical tables from waec. What my older siblings and uncles used was four figure tables so, they keep changing by introducing measures that would enhance the performance of candidates.

I like the step-by-step marking though. It's not polite to just base the judgement on the final answer. It would mean total waste of effort on the part of the candidate.
Nice chatting with you too bro.

JAMB has itted technical glitches which had affected almost 380k candidates and the same number will resit the exam. This is still fair but the cut off point should be reduced to 150 while an in-depth investigation must be carried out in the spirit of fairness and justice

How do you explain a situation where no student scored up to 200 in a school. Not just any school, but university secondary school? I think they really need to investigate what went down, and why only a specific region was affected more than other regions. It is ridiculous honestly.
I think the poor performance is across board, not peculiar to a particular region, if I'm not mistaken. If that's the case, they can also consider what's called the catchment areas in favour of the affected region. The north used to be backward in education...and they're still backward. The catchment areas used to favour them the most. Jamb knows what to do to address the mass failure. It's ridiculous.

They said over 1.5m got below 200 and jamb approved just 300+ to resit for the exam?

This simple means only those affected by glitches and computer errors can resit for the exam, others should take their scores and prepare for next year jamb.

The senate should make JAMB results valid for 5 years
Exactly. When they didn't mention the type of error they committed in the earlier release, I knew it would be on a selected cbts with tech glitches and not about overall failure recorded. Jamb results reflected the true performance of candidates only that, they've not told us of they changed their marking scheme or not. Because before and after I wrote jamb in 1993, our teachers and coaching centre tutors always warned us of dangers of answering questions we were not sure of. Instead of attempting them, we should just leave them out otherwise, any questions we got wrongly would be deducted from the ones we already answered correctly.

This method of marking was later reviewed and removed. How you wan score 300 in the 90s for UME as was called back then? You wan steal.am ni?
