Yesterday, I was in transit on the Lagos to Ibadan train and I sat with a young man. He had MBA in the UK and he’s currently working in the finance sector in Lagos. Our conversation drifted to women. And he told me he’s divorced and he only had a son. I probed further. It happen that the woman cheated on him consistently without remorse. He had to do DNA for the boy child. I asked if that’s enough reason for him to leave his wife.

In the past, women cheat on our grandfathers..but the difference our fathers were patient and very understanding. They forgive, forgive and forget.

Today, men leave marriage because a woman cheat? What happens to asking her why she cheat and helping her navigate such phase? What happen to treating her better and watch if she stops cheating or not? What happens to meeting the other man and ask her to stop sleeping with ur wife?
