Staffs Celebrate Removal Of Women Affairs Minister, Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye (Video) (29962 Views)

No matter who leaves, some people will be happy and some people will be sad. It boils down on who are those happy? Are they the late comers? The corrupt? Or the people of integrity? I don't judge by celebrations. Even when Tinubu was made president, some people were happy? While the good citizens and forward thinking progressive were sad. So it boils down on motive and who is happy and for what reasons they are happy 2 Likes |

ShescreamEWOOO:This is probably a fake video anyway but besides that, who told you they don't skip work when she was there? Skipping work is the modus operandi in govt offices since May 29 |

Welcum:there is nothing like big dent on her career, Nigerians celebrate those who allowed them to siphoned money and allow corruption to thrive while they dislike who doesn't allow them to make any money, for Nigeria to get better, it will takes magic.... |

Welcum: Don't think that way.. civil servants hate strict monitoring and enforcement of discipline.. their reaction doesn't necessarily speak to her competence.. maybe inter personal skills 2 Likes 1 Share |

The staff are only celebrating cos she stopped them from making money and wasting resources by organising useless seminars and symposiums! I'm not saying she was a great minister but at least she attempted to stop this civil service nonsense and they are now celebrating her exit 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kukutente23:i mean unofficial absenteeism, AWOL. Absenteeism is a pandemic in the Nigeria Civil service, even essential workers like doctors are worse. I know because i work with FMCs. 1 Like 1 Share |

LordFaraday:i never said she didn't steal, i never said shes a saint or shouldn't have been sacked. I only made a general observation. I was working at a federal govt establishment, whenever you see staff jubilating like this just know the person was ensuring strict adherence to work ethics. Wether she diverted 60 billion dollars is not the staff business 2 Likes 1 Share |

Rubbish People. I can confirm to you that Uju- Kennedy did marvellous job,as a Trade Minister, just forget the camaraderie of the rogues Staff, who are unsteady in Characters and very Corrupt. The Truth is that when a Minister comes Newly and he/ she has a different approach to getting results, surely, the footsoldiers of Old,will spring attacks. Mrs Kennedy is first Minister to go to all the Regions to identify the Real and existing Industries, instead of fake Companies that suck Funds from govt, without abilities. Mrs Kennedy refused to play a Tribal Card and she has done well and she will surely comes back . Shameless People. 2 Likes |

I still believe she was just an assertive bureaucratic leader who wanted things to be done orderly but trust me Nigerians would detest such a person especially the civil service which harbours the largest number of laziest Nigerians. Civil service in Nigeria is such a shame. The civil service is the home of corruption and laxity. That I believe most Nigerians know 1 Like 1 Share |

Bluntemperor:Nigerian Civil service is just a shame. Even if you choose to fix their corrupt nature there, the people would fight back. I know them. They like coming late, taking bribes. Foundational laxity and laziness 1 Like 1 Share |

ShescreamEWOOO:You are right. Her recent display insisting that 50% of funding from international NGOs should be spent on empowerment programmes for the less privileged instead of staff workshops comes to mind. Imagine TPain sacked this woman, while the minister of culture who is still doing NYSC and has done absolutely nothing in office hasn't been sacked. 1 Like |

Late comers, incompetent, lazy workers always jubilate when a strict boss with good work ethics is replaced. This ain't nothing new in Nigeria. We have witnessed such senseless jubilation over the years.l hope the new boss understands now the people,he is going to work with. 1 Like 1 Share |

naijapikin2:It's also correct. Check "Longman Dictionary". The plural form "staffs" is occasionally used to refer to multiple groups of staff, especially in the context of different departments or locations. For example, "The staffs of the London and Paris offices will collaborate on this project." Another instance of this usage can be found in the phrase "head teachers and their staffs," which refers to the collective groups of employees working under each head teacher. In the case of the Ministry of Women Affairs, which is divided into several departments, each with its own staff, using "staffs" to describe the collective employees of these departments would be accurate. While this usage is not as common and may be considered "less formal", it can still be found in certain contexts. Peace! |
