Let me open the floor. I strongly believe that if the President does these two things, Nigeria will become more secure: 1.) Fully implement State Police & Forest Guards 2.) Electoral reforms to make electronic transmission of polling unit results compulsory and irev a compulsory part of election result collation. Also make Presidential, Governorship and LGA Chairman election same day, Senate, Reps, State House of Assembly and LGA Councilors same day. I will stop here 70 Likes 9 Shares |

As an outsider can I say something?? Even if all your leaders today start doing what is right progress will still be marginal if the root cause is not addressed. 3 Likes |

To improve Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu could focus on two critical areas based on the country's pressing challenges: 1. **Enhance Security Through Comprehensive Reforms**: Tinubu must prioritize security by implementing his promised reforms to the security doctrine and architecture. This includes improving coordination and oversight of security agencies, increasing investment in training, equipment, and personnel welfare, and addressing socio-economic factors like poverty and unemployment that fuel insecurity. For instance, tackling the root causes of banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism through job creation and inclusive growth, particularly in affected regions, could reduce the 77% of Nigerians who feel unsafe. 2. **Stabilize the Economy with Targeted Policies**: Tinubu should focus on curbing inflation, which remains at 24%, and stabilizing the naira to alleviate the cost-of-living crisis. This could involve accelerating agricultural reforms to boost food supply, reducing reliance on imports, and improving local production through incentives for farmers and manufacturers. Additionally, ensuring transparency in reallocating savings from fuel subsidy removal to social programs, infrastructure, and healthcare would help cushion economic hardships and rebuild public trust. These steps address Nigeria's immediate security and economic challenges while laying the foundation for long-term stability and growth. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

1-Stepping down for a better candidate to contest in 2027, either from within the party or outside. 2-Dropping the heavily inflated coastal road project and fixing all the dilapidated roads nationwide. Ekiti road is the worst of all. Let me add the 3rd one: 3- Asking shettima to name his accomplices who are sponsoring boko haram and banditry in Nigeria and prosecuting them. 13 Likes 3 Shares |

For now 1, Tax the 70% in the informal sector that do not pay income tax to the federal and state government 2. Remove subsides on power, and disconnect those who do not pay the new rate permanently, so that we can attract sane investors. The other things I want him to do are outlined in the article ' the books, hold the oil' We got to get off resource dependency. Simple and short. (Lord knows, our political leaders are not serious. Since independence, the politicans and the army have done the same thing over and over, it is almost as if na curse) 5 Likes |
