How was Lagps pre 1999? What was her IGR? Infrastructure? Education? Healthcare? Population? Why pre 1999, the formal capital status can not give Lagos good roads, healthcare, light rail, good IGR, Housing, attract investment not until Tinubu came in and repositioned the state. Use your sense. Lagos was a slum pre 1999. An abandoned formal FCT. The infrastructure were deliberately abandoned to rot away by the military rulers. Not until Yoruba people started to ister the state by themselves. Thanks to return to democracy and Tinubu. Edication in Lagos state was a mess. Most elite and civil servants in Lagos state would send their children to Ogun state for education puting them in hostels. Is it formal federal capital status that changed this anomaly or a purposeful leadership of the pioneer governor of the fourth republic, Mr Tinubu.
