They mostly do it to find the lowest price available, even if it means walking round the market and comparing your price with other vendors. Unfortunately yours might not be the lowest that's why they price without buying from you.

That's life, the funny thing is that he might even end up buying thing more expensive from u even wen he knows some place he might get cheaper..... marketing na sense, no be quarrel.....not every customer dat bargains hard is broke.....some people would just chase customers off because dem dey bargain and loose a very big future prospects and deals.

I am that customer but if you indulge me, you get a customer for life.

You’re different sha, I’ve seen many people get very upset that I priced without buying from them. I don’t know the reason for it but I can also understand.

If you deal with Indian company you will understand what they called "bargaining" especially if the service/product can be easily source out from other contractors/vendors

u mean if u tell a customer ur market is 160k,he/she should simply pay the amount sharp sharp without haggling/price am? Some traders will even tell u if u mama Chidera market is even expensive compare to yours.Ignore such tactics and enter market and do the needful
