Hmm, is this what landlords go through?

I am rethinking building a tenement house.

A different level of clientele, never did this but, some that I know are often by retiring or retired artisans and some use diabolical means for eviction.

At times one wonders if treasury bills are not better. The capital/land appreciation and having a diversified portfolio is the main consideration.

One has a society of yahoo yahoo, conmen, and 419 this mindset filters into their everyday dealings.

If I had to do it again not in Nigeria.

I and my wife spoke at length about this issue of landlords and cost of running and maintaining their houses. In fact, investing the money else where is far better and rewarding than building house.

Like this morning, some police men have come around to arrest some guys in my flat but they evaded this morning.

I suspect that my neighbour to be a yahoo guy...they are about 4 of them in different flats, they hardly go out often and I mean, these are things landlords tend to bear.

I rather build to live in save myself of wahala.

But it's possible they are working from home....A cousin of mine who is a digital marketer never leaves his apartment unless if he's going for shopping on weekend.

I don't dispute that but to be honest,my landlord came last December to warn one of them, telling him that he doesn't want a yahoo guy in his house.

The number of young men and women into all sorts of vice is by far higher in today society than it used to.

Any business you do involving Nigerians it’s buyer and seller beware some will even use diabolical means to kill their landlord/someone they owe so one has to be careful.

It is getting better because of the due diligence that one carries out. At least we establish employment and ability to pay.

So now no yahoo yahoo 419. Some of them peddle drugs so they have unusually high traffic at night making deliveries hence the CCTV as it pre-warns them not here. They keep fighting to pay and are surprised when I say wait first na peaceful money I need.
