I understand you. I'm saying, the 0-3 scoreline is inflated and apart from AC Milan vs Deportivo, and Liverpool vs Barcelona overturning a 3-0 is almost impossible. That's why I never weighed in when people were making predictions. Most of it was just prisoners-of-the-moment style analysis. At 3-0, this dysfunctional RM were already out. Inter can use route 1. They did it against Bayern to score their first goal. Then they can break you down from the back, use 3rd man late runs, high press etc. They can park the bus effectively and generate chances from corner kicks. They have every tool at their disposal. What they lack is pound for pound talent. Thuram isn't most people's first choice striker, neither is Arnautovic. Lautaro has been middling in the serie A. Conte has tried and untried. As did Gasperini. Yet Inter are still top.

People forget Bayern had tied the game 1-1 towards the tail end of the first leg and what did Inter do shortly after? They broke down Bayern's press very systematically and scored right back. They did it again yesterday. Most coaches almost don't know what to expect when you play them.
