I believe religion is a tool invented to placate those that have been struck with the unfortunates of life and promise them a state of eldorado in Afterlife.

Those that had encountered the negatives of life as regards their biological, environmental and natural make up.

It then become a potent tool in the hand of those wielding it on those they controlled hence you see that most religious rules only applies to the weak and low lives of the society and never those that have survived most life chaos.

It’s also a great tool to strike fear in human since its ultimate goal is to fear something/someone no one ever see but believes in his existence.


The only excuse I give for its reality is ‘afterlife’

No need to believe. Religion was already running before evil people started invading lands and used their power of destruction and death to suppress people.

Then they real eyesed that that was not enough. So they used anything (brainwashing/politics) and everything (bribery/religion) to force their will of ruling and controlling the lands they invaded.

So this is clearly where the tooling started. But rather than blame the tooler you are rather ing the brainwashed bandwagon to blame the tool.

You know I once witnessed a pastor whipping his church leaders with a belt for not doing enough evangelism? And this pastor is from one of the most popular churches here in Africa... And funny enough, I had lost track of days when I went there, in my mind, I thought it was Wednesday and I went there to attend their usual Wednesday evening service, only to get there and realise that it was actually Tuesday, and Tuesday was a prayer day for leaders only, but since I had arrived, they welcomed me... I'm very sure you also know the church, but I'm not going to mention it.

I was so scared, I couldn't wait to leave that place.

The most depressing part of the whole thing is that most of these guys are intelligent, perfectly reasonable and rational when it comes to other topics or conversations. But when it's time to talk about religion, their brains will just enter ghost mode. 👻

If religion is the only way they can make sense of the world around them, then it's their business. My only problem is that they refuse to keep their beliefs to themselves, with their annoying preaching and evangelism, and their annoying habit of always seeking hand outs and special privileges just because they have imaginary friends and I don't. 😂

Is this not done in every aspect of living? Whether in your family or in the office or on even simple WhatsApp group?

Just yesterday some residents challenged the position of why the estate's gates should not be opened at all for residents even if it is 2am and the opposers are being looked upon as enemies.

Or is it the one where someone disagrees with the chairman of the club and malice and hatred starts?
