Many a times, when you hear news like this, a glimmer of hope is born; but, after a while when reality sets in, the hope becomes dashed. Before Dangote refinery began operations, everyone thought there was light at the end of the tunnel with regard to our economy. Still on page one after an hour. POLYPROPYLENE production can actually employ far more people than the refinery can if we build a vibrant CAD and CAM industry for small household items around it. Imagine production of kitchen utensils, plastic reinforced or pure furnitures, electronics cases, manual devices, medical kits and more.
