It’s ideal, we don’t know why they abandoned this in the first place but Tinubu will execute it.

Let keep on moving.

stupidity reside in your brain, Nigeria is the major importer of Chinese products, why should we use dollars instead if yuan that is cheaper

The Chinese will loose more with a direct Yuan swap. They would rather prefer use of cross currency trades with the dollar before conversion to the Yuan.

Bying USD is good if sustained.
It doesn't make sense that wire transfers have to be routed through US banks (intermediary) before reaching its final destination. Extortion will be a harsh word.

You clearly don't understand international trade.

Sometimes it's better to remain silent than remove all doubt

The comment shows very poor education, a total lack of understanding of the issue under discussion, pitiful economic illiteracy, and zero analytical ability.

Thank God you yourself said nobody can bring down the dollar which is true, I wonder ehy your empty head thunks the Naira - Yuan swap will do it. Yhis was the same.boise Buhari made during his disasterous reign, now you confused lots have started disturbing our peace with this noise too.

Hey idiot.

It simply means entities willing to import from China now have direct access to Yuan while Chinese have access to naira, without needing the USD.

Actually, you empty-headed twerp, nobody on earth can “bring down the dollar to 700” in a free-market economy, except by artificially shoring it up with billions of dollars and reverting to the chaotic dual exchange rate of the past, the combined effects of which drove the economy into the ground, in addition to the fuel subsidy.

That’s why you need an education, so you can understand what you are reading here.

Besides insults I doubt you are more intelligent

Rest , your IQ is too low to understand this ...again I ask you why would China want to directly exchange Naira for RMD? Buhari tried this and knew it was beautiful nonsense, the naira is too unstable and unpopular for anyone to want to Bleep with but again your IQ is too low to ever get this
instead of them to tell us it's Chinese yuan / crude oil deal, they are telling us naira deal. Who will collect the naira from China?

Nobody can quit the dollar , every currency on earth is valued by the dollar, some of you are not smart enough to understand some things...If I ask you what 1 million RMB is you must first convert it to dollars to understand the value , both Nigeria and China must also convert their GDPs to dollar to even understand what' it's worth ..
