Take your mom up on her offer.
Don't treat your kids' education like a DSTV sub plan.
Insomuch as you're certain that the quality of education matches the sticker price, pony up for it.
If you can't, and someone else offers , accept it, thank your stars, and express gratitude to your benefactor.

Did you attend that kind of school?
Today, aren't you able to do everything those who attended such schools do?
Or do you think you're limited because of a wasteful primary and secondary schools you didn't attend?

Don't encourage unnecessary waste.

Average primary and secondary schools are ok, and won't stop any determined student from achieving his/her life ambitions.

Your presentation is quite poor.

You need to improve on it.

If we have points/ideas, but can't present them properly, then we'll end up making a mess of them.

Don't encourage unnecessary waste.

Average primary and secondary schools are ok, and won't stop any determined student from achieving his/her life ambitions.

If you consider excellent, and habitually pricey, education to be "unnecessary waste", I'll leave you to your own devices.

Your duty as a parent is to give your wards the best possible leg up that you can afford.

You can cut back on a lot of things.
Don't upgrade their iPhones every year.
Forego luxury brands.
Have a crack at a staycation in lieu of an overseas vacay.

But do not scrimp on their education if you can help it.

Say your kid is a genius, why stifle their progress by immuring them in a sterile environment that does not challenge them; while their peers are engaging in more impactful intellectual pursuits?
Or if your kid is average, what is the harm in providing them with the right academic toolset to overachieve?
Or if your kid does not take to the contemporary scholastic system, why would you not want to know early on that you'd have to provide a more robust system for him or her than you would for their sib(s)?

Do right by your kids!
Do not intentionally make their lives harder and subject them to the indignity of playing catchup with their peers.
That would breed resentment.

We Bloggers spend more than 100,000naira monthly on DATA, in order to Publish Update.

Posting Of Bad News Alone, Cost NaíjaCover More Than 500GB Worth Of Data Monthly.

Why not get Starlink? Faster and relatively cheap monthly subscription.

The hardware is expensive initially though, but for your kind of work you’ll still be saving money over time.

It reduces zapping of data, only off it when you want others to connect with hotspot

Man, I totally feel you—these bills pile up quick. Between data, gas, DSTV, and electric top-ups, it feels like I’m just watching money fly out every month. I actually switched over to Octopus Energy tariffs recently, hoping to save a bit on electricity. They’ve got some plans that let you pay less if you can time your usage right, so it’s helped me cut down a bit.
