Please, if someone goes outside and start shooting people on the street or students in school, what is it called? I know you want to show me that you are too good in English, that is why am asking you this question. Without being told, you should know that some people can abuse anything that touch their hands, is that the kind of people you want to have access to guns, imagine fireworks that was meant to be targeted upward is what some set of people where using as gun, now imagine when those set of people have access to gun, you should know how such story will end. I will rather the creation of state police and vigilante, both should work together in conjunction with the federal police than allowing people to have access to gun, I think that will reduce insecurity.

Our security operatives have been heavily compromised...im sure you've seen the video where soldiers were standing beside bandits in Kaduna....so creating state police won't solve anything...they sell their weapons to those bandits.
Some are even used as maiguard for the terrorists...have you not seen where soldiers were escorting cows and cow herders in Ogun state.

I agree with you mass shooting is mass shooting anywhere but if you look at the scale of dead bodies that are left in their wake surely you will reason with me that they are not the same.

It's very simple, a murderer is a murderer but a person who has killed 100 is not the same as somebody who has killed 2. There's a huge disparity although they're both called killers.

As regards to those who were pointing fireworks at each other that is the exact thing Falana is saying..it is a level playing field that we need...a situation where a cow herder is coming to my farm with AK-47 and I have my M16 or a 50 calibre 😌 it is mutually assured destruction for us both.
But the government is telling me it is illegal to defend myself against a mad man wielding assault rifle is utterly ridiculous....that war they're trying to avoid it is coming whether they like it or not if the senseless mass murderers are not curtailed.

There is a reason why US, China, Russia, Great Britain, North Korea and some super powers will never go to war against each other but they will always attack defenceless countries.
We should have a level playing field....2 of us get gun you point your own at me and I shoot you before you shoot me, In Yoruba we call that " gambari pa fulani kosejo ni be"

The people doing the killings in the villages got arms under the same right ... bearing arms for self defense... and here they are attacking day and night. When others bear arms ... why wouldn't they do same? I would expect him to push for taking away the right to bear arms to protect cattle.

I know a man who owned a licensed gun. He used it to scare armed robbers attempting to break into house at night. When police came in the morning, they arrested him and seized the gun. He spent almost a week in custody and am sure had to spend a lot to bail himself . . .

There was a community who mobilized themselves to acquire locally made guns and rifles after repeated attacks from terrorists. Police and Army came and raided their homes, seized all the weapons and arrested those found in possession. The attack happened again and the entire community was wiped off. Then a new set of persons took over their homes and farm lands - and the authorities looked the other way. That was almost 15 years ago!

Nigerian authorities & law enforcement agencies will never self defense lipsrsealed

But the fulani are using their control of the FG to disarm others while unleashing their cowardly terrorists on them. Let there be armed state and local council police, you will see the nonsense stopped. Wicked people.

Yoruba man is now the president, not Fulani.

Even the VP is not Fulani, so what are you saying?

People that will rob will rob, killers are killing, jealous wives are murdering with knives, poison and all what not. My position is the playing field should be leveled against terrorists & bandits since the government have failed the citizens

Legalizing guns would by no means level the playing field. It's a case of solving a problem by creating another problem; in fact, I don't even think it will solve the problem.
It's more of a case of creating another problem in an attempt to solve an existing one.
Just like the case of Nigeria who in search of a solution to their problem found a bigger problem (Buhari) grin

Nigeria does not have the system for that.

What was happening before he became president hasn't changed. Apart from that, if you and I don't make sufficient noise, and your representatives in the national assembly, governors and state lawmakers, etc don't act now, nothing will happen. What can a president who is not a fulani do where politicisation is going on when the issue should be truthfully confronted? What can a president do with the security agencies that are not neutral? It is so bad that the president will only want to be politically correct and nothing decisive will be done. Whether you're fulani or not, I don't know, but let me tell you those who started this problem have only provoked others but can never be winners if it becomes a countrywide conflagration. The truth must be said and faced to avoid evil.

For the rural dwellers (farmers) that are being butchered nonstop it will give them a chance to fight back. There's a topic on front page now about legalising guns from a senator. I strongly believe it's something we need to look into

Whether the security forces are neutral or not, the bottom line is that they follow orders.

If Buhari couldn't order the arrest of Killer herdsmen because they are his brothers.

What would stop Tinubu( GCFR) from giving that order?

My point is that fulani no longer calls the shot, unless Tinubu is also part of the big schemers that are pro islamic fundamentalists.

You speak just like any of us would ordinarily do, but if you had access to the information on the ground, you would change your mind. If the fulani no longer call the shot, then we should ask the question you earlier raised: what stops Tinubu from giving the needed order? It is either he is simply stupid and doesn't know what to do like most of you would assume; or he is one of them like you suggested; ...or he just doesn't care so far he's enjoying the office and its attendant goodies.

But why are your lawmakers at the national and state levels also playing political correctness? Why are people like Peter Obi, Atiku. etc not speaking up the way they should? Why are people like Pastor Tunde Bakare who was shouting all hell on Jonathan have suddenly become changed men since the days of Buhari till now? Why are certain key church leaders also playing safe? Why do you think many of the political leaders don't want a free Nnamdi Kanu? Why is Sunday Igboho a constant target for killing or compromise? Why did Jonathan say those Nigerians stirred up to crucify him would later sing his praise? Why did a Northern Nigerian like Theophilus Danjuma urge everyone to rise and defend themselves? Why security experts who dared speak up have either gone under or been 'silenced' under questionable circumstances? Why would governors like Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and the police command in that state killer fulani against their Yoruba victims who are crying out or offering to help? Why couldn't Obasanjo stay away from revealing the agenda at a church event last year, and even went on to say though he didn't state police in the past but now wants it?

It much easier to come online and make comments, it's another to know what is playing out. The earlier you realise this country has been divided and conquered from within, the better for you to know nothing will happen positively from that your Aso Rock until every person on the street learns the way of personal and national preservation of the present and the future.

There is no classified information anywhere.

The reality is that Tinubu doesn't want to shake the structure that made him president.

Fulanis are part and parcel of the people that made him president, and as such he would look elsewhere than to sour that relationship.

Nigeria can be conquered as by Fulani as much as they want, but probably not SE and SS, especially SE.

All the politicians aren't truthful, they are hustlers.
