13 trillion dollars? I mean how Mr Sanwo-Olu? Meanwhile, where are these investments? Even Nigeria's GDP is not even up to $300B. So how did you arrived at this bogus figure?
Even IMF Have told the FG that it proposed 1T investment drive is not feasible given the abysmal rate the Nigerian economy is progressing. So abeg dey lie small small.
I wonder o 🤔
If Nigeria as a whole had $13 trillion in investments over the last 10 years, Nigeria would be 2nd or 3rd largest economy in the world.

Very good one Atiku.
The federal government should lead by example and compel states to do the same.
If all federal government agencies, including the presidency, should buy locally made vehicles, it would add hundreds of billions to the economy, strengthen job creation and strengthen the Naira by saving foreign exchange.
Most importantly, it would set a very strong message that would emulated by the private sector. It would also be a lasting political currency and legacy that the presidency can cash on in future election cycles.

Every merchant hopes to sell products whenever it is most profitable.
If crayfish is cheapest during the rainy season and most expensive during the dry season, a crayfish merchant would be absolute mor.on not to buy low in the rainy season and sell high during the dry season. This is common sense, this is universal, this practice goes all the way back to the very beginning of commerce in the human march of civilization.

Yeah, I am suspicious of the guy, but he was acquitted by a court of law. And that superceeds any suspicions I may have of him.
As much as I oppose female abuse, at the end of the day, the Law has said he is not guilty. I ire the Mayor's desire to stand up for what is right, but the guy was acquitted.
There is a reason why we got courts.
That he was acquited only means that they would not send him to jail for the rest of his life.
His acquital does not in anyway absolve him of the suspicion of being a danger to the public, especially vulnerable young women.
If the courts failed his many victims, then the state officials have the obligation to put a secondary safety net for their young women.
The action was correct and necessary.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Is A Tool God Is Using To Develop Abia North — Rev. Elekwa
Reverend Samson Okoro Elekwa, a respected cleric of the Baptist Church, has hailed Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, describing him as “Abia’s greatest gift from God” and “a divine instrument” through whom God is transforming Abia North Senatorial District.
Speaking to newsmen, the cleric commended Senator Kalu’s impressive strides in rural infrastructure, particularly citing the construction of roads in Ndi Orieke, Ohafia LGA, and Amannagwu, Arochukwu LGA, along with over 80 other roads across the district.
“The road in Ndi Orieke, Ohafia, and the one in Amannagwu, Arochukwu, are just a few among the many life-changing projects Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has brought to our people,” Rev. Elekwa said.
“He didn’t just talk; he acted. These roads have opened up our communities and empowered our farmers, traders, and transporters. For me, this is real empowerment—far better than sharing wrappers or giving out small cash.”
Reverend Elekwa highlighted several other communities that have benefited from Kalu’s leadership, including Atan Abam, Alayi, Ezeukwu, Ndi Inya Abam, Isu, Umuzomgbo, Itumbauzo, Okoko Item, Nneato, Akanu Ohafia, and Abia Ohafia.
“Kalu is not only building roads, he is building hope, restoring pride, and empowering generations. We must acknowledge and protect this legacy,” he added.
Taking a firm stand against those criticizing the senator, the cleric described detractors as “political jobbers and sponsored nonentities.”
“Those attacking Senator Kalu are jobless noise-makers who have never brought a single block to their communities. They are threatened by his success and are trying to distract him. But they will fail,” he stated.
Reverend Elekwa urged the people of Abia North and the entire South East to rally behind Senator Kalu, describing him as a beacon of leadership, vision, and grassroots development.
“The South East needs leaders like Kalu—bold, generous, and development-driven. I urge our people to stand with him and ignore those who only know how to criticize without results,” he concluded.
Apparently, God forgot to use him to develop the entire Abia state when he was governor.
I guess God must have advised him to loot now and develop later.

Every single trading relationship the US has with other nations were specifically and deliberately crafted by the US for the benefit of the US.
The US economy is greatest beneficiary of the current global trading arrangement. So it doesn't make sense that they are complaining of unfair trade. US economic power comes from these trade arrangements that makes everything available and cheap for US consumers. This is what every empire in history dreams of and fights to attain. That Donald Trump is trying dismantle the underpinnings of US economic power and dominance is baffling,..unless he is on mission to do just that.

Volume of debt or size of debt is not an issue
Ability to repay is the issue
Someone can owe 2 million and be worse than someone who owe 10 billion
In nigeria the issue we talk about is our revenue to debt servicing is too high..
We need to increase revenue, sadly the only way to do that is to borrow more but use it for what would generate revenue or ability to pay back the loan
So borrowing and using it to build road, bridge, rails, and the reat feel good projects is foolishness... Very big foolishness
And that's what APC have been doing since
But robust economic activities are what generates revenues for the government. In a stagnant economy such as have, government can only generate additional revenues by squeezing the already suffering masses.

If an agreement is detrimental to the people, the constitution, convictions, oath of office and personal contrition. Should it still be honored?
Personally this saga has opened my eyes to the multifaceted nature of our problems.
Nigerians don't want a good society, they just want someone they know to access the treasury, by hook or crook and share. David Cameron couldn’t have said it better- “fantastically corrupt.”
How we are not vexed that people can boldly speak of putting others in office, like we run an oligarchy or monarchy is bemusing. Instead we vilify the unwilling or repentant subject for turning a new leaf.
Even the 3 wisemen in the Bible didn’t honor their promises to Herod because of his inimical intent. So what do we actually pray for concerning Nigeria as Christians and Muslims? To change whose heart?
Just the other day in Lagos, a group of men voiced their position beyond the veil as being the grundnorm of authority in the Lagos assembly and no one sees the inanity in their statement.
Same in kogi, an ex-governor uses the current governor as a vassal and no one sees anything wrong with it.
And now port harcourt.
This is sad.
We lack norms, we lack values, we lack integrity.
Think for a minute, if Wike’s angst is for better schools, hospitals, jobs, welfare of his constituents or personal gains.

As the world stands now, the USA needs to extend territory. That’s why Donald Trump first defund all organizations that can challenge actions (U.N, WHO and others). Militarily, USA now own Gaza as Trump plans to deploy their military there to clear everything including Gazans out.
Greenland will be taken from Denmark as price for USA protection of Europe and if Europe still needs protection, the USA needs Greenland.
Also, USA needs Ukraine. That’s why Trump ask Zelenskyy to sign mineral deals without guarantee. What’s the purpose of owning a land without authority to mine your mineral. As long as Zelenskyy accepts the deal, that land become of interest to USA and they will put boot on ground to Safe it.

Since FG acted on Binance dollar manipulating in Nigeria, Naira has been gaining strength.
Is it only Nigeria Binance was banned or have issue with the government country?
Why should we be using crypto rate as dollar rate in Nigeria?
Annoyingly, those who have no idea about the extent of Binance manipulation would come on this thread to defend him. Annoyingly
Modified: It's important for Nigerians to have a clue about the basis of Binance trouble in Nigeria.
So Binance and some crooks in Nigeria, colluded together to be placing fake orders on Binance which will required dollars settlement. The crooks would use the receipt of the placed orders to exchange naira to dollar at a very discounted price as the amount is huge.
Eventually, the orders are not existing, the demanded dollars are meant to be laundered outside Nigeria most especially other African countries and sell at high price.
It got to the extent that there was too much demand on dollar which made the suspicion.
Now , how many years have Binance been manipulating naira-dollar rate in Nigeria? That some people said Binance left a year ago while the dollar is still around N1500. So you expect years of manipulating to be vanished within a year?
This is nonsense, and you know it.
I can agree that crooks in Nigeria ( and there are millions of them) were using Binance for currency arbitrage. They saw opportunities for quick profit and they used it to their advantage. Looking for loopholes in the system and taking advantage is what every Nigerian does, from top to bottom.
However, claiming that Binance itself was complicit is absurd. Binance is crypto currency platform where crypto currencies are bought and sold.
Nigerian bankers and firms have been know in the past , even sanctioned for manipulating stocks for their benefits. Has the Nigerian stock exchange been banned or closed for the actions of rogue players?
I believe everything, every single thing that this man is saying simply because we all know that Nigeria and Nigerian politicians, and the Nigerian judiciary are thoroughly corrupt.
