Listen if you sell me a phone for 2 million naira you have to be able to guarantee that you will not create another phone for 3 years so as to maintain the value of my expensive stock and give me time to enjoy it and bask in the ambiance. You can't just create another phone in 3 months time and render my phone obsolete. It's like buying an expensive stock and then the insiders crash the stock and now the stock you are holding has no more value. This is criminal activity. I refuse to pay 2 million naira for a phone unless you can guarantee that you will not create another phone for the next 3 years
This is exactly what I told someone the other day. Phone companies should not be allowed to be dishing out phones every 3 months...and render the most recent obsolete.
E.g. Apple/iPhone company.
It makes no sense to keep creating new phones every year. I believe if Steve Jobs were alive today, he would not be launching new iPhones every year.
But see wetin Tim Cooks, abi what's his name, is doing. Makes no business sense to me at all.
Instead, they should focus on upgrading or updating the features of phones for like 3 years or more. They can even milk s for as long as possible, giving valuable updates in exchange for cash.
Meanwhile, the company will have time for research in order to create the next powerful device. Two or three years should be enough.
Then, create a new phone. By that time, s of the old devices may have gotten tired of them and may decide to go for the new options.
But, each to his own. It is well...

What type of phone do you use?
If you use the iPhone 5s and one other iPhone model, not sure which, you may need to upgrade your smartphone.
WhatsApp has reported discontinuation of its service on iPhone 5s, and the other one, not sure which.
Another thing: your phone may have been compromised by a bug. Either format your phone or get a new one ASAP.
Hope this helps...

How much is the wife also earning? People fail to understand that life has two sides. You should not look down on people earning meagre salary because some are not lucky to be on the good side of life. Some children are better positioned today because they were born into a rich home while some found themselves born into poverty. You need a lot of calculations, luck, selflessness, luck, connection and God grace to bring your family out of poverty. No one is happy to be living in poverty, it's what life presents to them.
You're so right. I'm within that age range, and used to earn something substantial as a freelance writer until something happened.
I don't even know what...but right now, I'm earning nothing. Using Airtel's free 50MB data to write this: that's how low I've sunk.
GOD is using my better half, but we're neck deep in debts. Even if I want to learn anything, no one teaches things for free, and that's very okay. Knowledge should be sold.
And even if I want to learn stuff from YouTube, where's the money for data?
Na GOD Hand I dey now. I'm even looking for menial jobs to do, but can't find.

Dpsychologist:
Note: This thread will explore The Psychology of Giving and will discuss on When Spending on Women Becomes Simping.
Money and relationships have always been intertwined, but in the modern dating landscape, the dynamics of financial transactions between men and women have taken on a new formâ"billing culture."
Some men willingly spend on women, while others refuse. Some see it as an investment, while others view it as manipulation. The deeper question is:
At what point does spending money on a woman become simping?
To break this down, letâs analyze four different menâJohn, Tayo, Chukwudi, and Alhaji Abbasâand their financial decisions when faced with a womanâs request for money.
The Financial Spectrum of "Giving"
1. JOHN (âŚ50k in ) â Rose asks for âŚ5k
His thought: "Itâs a small amount; I wonât feel the loss."
His action: Sends the money.
2. TAYO (âŚ500k in ) â Bisi asks for âŚ50k
His thought: "Itâs not too much; I can afford it."
His action: Sends it out of goodwill.
3. CHUKWUDI (âŚ3 million in ) â Ada asks for âŚ120k
His thought: "Itâs not a big deal; I wonât feel it."
His action: Sends anywhere from âŚ90k to âŚ120k.
4. Alhaji Abbas (âŚ500 million in ) â Aisha asks for âŚ5 million
His thought: "âŚ5m is like pocket change to me."
His action: Sends âŚ5m or even âŚ10m because he can.
The question is:
"Why would a man send such huge sums to a woman who isnât his wife, girlfriend, or at least someone he has slept with?"
When we look deeper, the real issue isnât about the moneyâitâs about why the man is giving.
Understanding the Psychology of Giving Money to Women
1. Giving Money Because You Can Afford It Doesnât Make It Right
A lot of men justify sending money with the mindset of:
"Itâs just 1k, 5k, 50k, or even 5m⌠I wonât feel it."
But hereâs the truth:
A bad financial decision remains a bad financial decision, no matter how small.
Spending money on a woman who hasnât earned it builds a dangerous precedent.
It teaches her that she can get money from men without giving anything in return.
At this point, itâs not about whether youâre "rich enough" to send moneyâitâs about whether the money is being given with purpose or out of manipulation.
2. Women Are Not NaĂŻveâThey Know What Theyâre Doing
Letâs be real. Most women understand exactly what theyâre doing when they ask for money.
They donât go around randomly begging every guy in their list.
They selectively target men who they believe will comply.
This is why the same woman who asks one man for money will never ask another manâbecause she knows who will give and who wonât.
Itâs a calculated move, and any man who doesnât understand this will keep falling for the trick.
3. The Dangerous Mindset of "Itâs Just 1k"
A lot of men defend their spending by saying:
"Bro, itâs just 1k, 5k, 10k⌠nothing big."
But this mindset is dangerous for two reasons:
First, itâs not about the amountâitâs about the principle.
If you believe giving 1k "doesnât matter," youâll believe giving 5k "doesnât matter."
Then, when you get more money, 50k will "not matter."
Before you know it, youâre the guy sending 5 million because "itâs small compared to my wealth."
Second, it creates a pattern where women see you as a financial resource.
Women test men all the time.
If you send 1k today, tomorrow sheâll ask for 5k.
If you send 5k, sheâll try 20k next.
Before you know it, youâre funding her lifestyle, and sheâs rewarding you with nothing but "thank you, dear."
This is how a man slowly turns into an ATM without realizing it.
4. The Real Reason Some Men SpendâThey Hope Money Will Get Them Sex
A lot of men wonât it it, but letâs be honest:
Most guys who send money to women they arenât dating are secretly hoping it will lead to sex.
They may say:
"Iâm just helping her out, bro. Itâs not that deep."
But deep down, theyâre thinking:
"If I help her now, sheâll see Iâm a good guy and reward me later."
The reality? Most women donât work like that.
The guys who give them money are not the ones they respect.
The guys they respect and sleep with are often the ones who donât give them money easily.
This is why many rich men still get played.
They think throwing money around will make a woman value them, but in reality, it only makes her see them as a financial opportunity.
So, Is Sending Money to a Woman Always Simping?
Not necessarily.
There are contexts where giving is reasonable:
â
If she is your girlfriend or wife and has shown loyalty.
â
If she has proven her value to you over time.
â
If the relationship is mutually beneficial.
But if she is just:
â Some girl you met on Instagram.
â A woman who texts you only when she needs something.
â A girl who hasnât given you anything in return.
Then youâre a simp, and youâre being used.
The Harsh Truth: Women Donât Value Men Who Are Too Easy to Extract Money From
A woman will never respect a man who gives her money too easily.
She may smile and say "Thank you."
She may act grateful in the moment.
She may even promise to "see you soon."
But deep down, she does not rate you.
Women ire men who:
đ Have self-control over their finances.
đ Do not allow emotional manipulation to dictate their spending.
đ Are not afraid to say NO.
The more easily you give, the less she values you.
Final Verdict: Stop Justifying "Small" SpendingâIt Adds Up
Many men fall into the trap of thinking, "1k is nothing," but they donât realize:
1k today.
5k next week.
20k next month.
100k when she says sheâs "stranded."
Before you know it, youâve wasted thousands on a woman who sees you as nothing but a financial resource.
Meanwhile, the guy sheâs actually sleeping with hasnât sent her a single kobo.
The Smart Manâs Approach:
1ď¸âŁ Never send money to a woman who hasnât proven her value.
2ď¸âŁ If she asks for money early, itâs a red flag.
3ď¸âŁ Understand that money will never buy you respect or attraction.
4ď¸âŁ If you must spend, spend on things that improve YOUR life.
At the end of the day, the most valuable thing a man can do is protect his resources, his energy, and his self-respect.
Stop justifying "small" spendingâitâs a slippery slope.
Wow....well done. Thanks for opening my eyes to this.
I'm a die-hard giver...but have learned a lot and even experienced some of the things outlined in this write-up.
Thank you! Implementation = activated immediately!!

Bro...
Many movies of the early to late '90s will never be on YouTube. I don't know why the producers choose to do this.
Till today, I'm still searching for BRUNO AND THE LAW, DIAMOND RING 1 & 2, STATE OF EMERGENCY, LOVE WITHOUT LANGUAGE 1 & 2, BACKSTAB, and other related movies, but no dice.
This is the period when producers of these movies should them to YouTube, if not for anything, but for posterity.
Besides, these producers will still make good money from YouTube if they such movies.
However, you also need to consider the quality of the cameras used in shooting movies back then. Can they do well on YouTube today?

But for me, I love how the AMVCA is organized with notable and meaningful categories.
I would really appreciate it if DSTV can dedicate a channel were they can be showing old Nollywood movies, sitcoms and family programs like;
Everyday People,
Domino,
Thrift Collector,
I Need To Know,
Hills and valleys,
Basi and Company,
One Love,
Extended Family,
Checkmate,
e.t.c
Exactly! I had that thought once, too. Shows how we need this. There are plenty of TV shows DsTv can re-run such as:
The Masquerade (Chief Zebrudaya and co)
The New Masquerade (keep resting in peace, Jegede Shokoya, Ramota, and co.)
Riddles and Hope
Ripples
The Village Heaster (Both old and new)
The Bala Miller Show
Behind the Clouds (continue resting in peace, Nosa)
Bassey and Company (both old and new)
Tales by Moonlight (headlined by Funmi Adams - where's this woman?) (For kids)
Story Land (for kids)
Speak Out (for kids)
Etc.

The moment Sheggz and Adekunle almost exchanged blows during the heated argument,
Sheggz and Adekunle engaged each other alongside Bella and Diana, it started when Adekunle made known to Sheggz that he wasn't an intellectual, that was why Sheggz got angry.
The whole issue started when they were all talking about schools, and money when the topic of schools came up and Sheggs decided to not talk about money, but choose to talk to Bella about family, work, and football, and then Adekunle started firing back to him about the Schools he went to, and started calling out Sheggs and calling him not to be an intellectual and that caused the whole fight drama between both Adekule and Sheggz.
Perhaps from the beginning of the Show Adekunle may have liked Bella, but Bella is closer to Sheggz but not him, maybe he is a bit jealous of Sheggz,
Also Diana had to confront Bella, and asked her Why would her boyfriend Sheggz be talking to Adekunle like that and that made Diana and Bella have a little face-off. Then Bella faced Rachel with some accusations over Food problem in the House as well
It was all a rumble with words between Level 1 Housemates and it all got settled later.
You're obviously a fan of Shegun, a conceited m*fck*r who thinks all the guys like Bella and all the girls like him...na Doyin f-up...
This was NOT the genesis of the issue. Shegun had been prodding Adekunle since the first week of their stay in the House...
It came to a head yesterday because of food...
OP, get your facts right and don't be biased if you want to go far as a self-appointed journalist...
Objectivity wins all the time .....go to Twitter and YouTube to see where the whole thing stemmed from...
I only wished Shegun had agreed with Adekunle to forfeit the #100 million prize money. Adekunle needs to brush that Shegun's mouth real good....
