Charley2020: I know that s can buy an extra battery. I am only saying that the extra battery can only be used as a backup battery to charge up the main Ecoflow system when it is low. You cannot connect the extra battery to the battery of the main Ecoflow system to increase the capacity from say 1280wh to 2560wh. You also cannot use the extra battery in itself as you will still need an inverter at the very minimum. You also cannot upgrade the inverter capacity of the Ecoflow system without having to buy a new Ecoflow system altogether. Those are the ideas around upgradeability of a renewable energy system 2 Likes |

BigDickProblems: Not sure this is possible. The extra battery (which makes you refer to it as being upgradable) is mostly used as a backup to charge the main battery. You can't connect an extra battery to the main Ecoflow, increasing its capacity. If you want to increase the backup time, you need to buy another full Ecoflow system and connect both in such a way that one will charge another one, while you use the one that is being charged |

Pearl1910: Lol...yes. obediobembe, one of us here, says he has a driving partner who drives with at night. A simple introduction of your partner or trainee will suffice. Or does the apps have any documented policy against such? |

ksmart027: Is my suggestion out of place? I see lots of newbies coming here to ask about ways to survive in this endeavour. Ride-Along is a common way to gain field experience and shorten the learning curve. |

Pearl1910: I it that you have a point here. But the app is still solely responsible for giving you that information about the destination and you don't have to call out riders for refusing to provide it on first interaction. Most times, riders know where they are going and have inputted same on the app, so you will not be at fault if you follow the map to get to your destination. I am surprised you are asking about the security exposure in stating your destination to a driver who has just called, now knows your location at the time and may or may not accept the ride. |

XGhost: You are doing well. Consider using a hands-on approach to mentor newbies in the house. What I mean is, having them ride along with you for a week or 2 to get hands-on experience. You can even charge for it and make it a part of your revenue. Weldone! |

YeyeGbami: What if you ask and they sincerely tell you the wrong location. It is possible that rider is not familiar with the destination and s/he may have just copied and pasted the address into the app without committing it to memory. If you are concerned about seeing the destination, take it up with the app companies so that they make the destination readily visible on the order notification. |
![]() |
Pearl1910: I am sure apps have a reason why they don't allow the destination to be readily visible, so it is out of place for drivers to ask riders for this information until they are at pickup location and they shouldn't blame riders who don't provide this information. From my experience, 99% of the time, when drivers ask for destination location and I tell them, next question they ask is how much I saw on the app, then they end up cajoling me to pay extra. It could even be a security exposure for me. Now, I don't reveal my destination at all until they get to pickup location. Drivers should take it up to the app companies to add that feature In this particular incident, the lady is not the only lover here. At least, the driver spent his fuel in getting to the location of the driver before cancelling. If he is too concerned about his appointment, then he should focus on it 1 Like |
