That's the church she was attending before we got married, so I don't want to stop her in order for it not to seems like I'm wicked and for her not to call me names. Yesterday she reminded me that after our marriage my family forced her to do thanks giving at our church. She has been saying this for long, but stopped, until yesterday. I told her that doing thanks giving at our church is now a bad thing or something that's forceful? She cried a lot yesterday because of our argument of this naming. Same tears she used in forcing me into getting married to her when I wasn't in anyway ready. [/quote Do I have to remind you tone the man? She's very manipulative. Stand your ground. |

I totally agree with OP. The presence of a male, or father is very important. See how all of them turned out.

This epistle reminds me of someone making excuses for cheating their spouse. You must have dated your wife for a while before getting married, now why are you ranting. She gave the foodstuff to her mum and am sure she must have mentioned it before but you dismissed it. Did you try to talk to her and hear her out? And pls, enough with the liability bullshit. He's your son for crying out loud. Do you know how it feels to be rejected by your own blood?Your son will grow up and will someday look up to you. I hope it will not be with disdain. Grow up man, you are just pathetic.Apologise to your wife and keep your zipper up!!
MEN! Try and get yourself a foreign girlfriend when you're ready to mingle. Even if it's a beautiful girl from Bangladesh. Stay away from Nigerian girls. They are nothing but sex objects and slaves always walking around with overused kpekus and damaged womb. Foreign girls are hardworking and very ive. Nigerian girls are liabilities and very lazy. Do not generalize and be biased. We have a lot of women who their partners wholeheartedly. Beat it. 1 Like |

I feel for you and understand your plight., But you don't have to dwell there. Make the change, if you feel timid and boring, buy good books to build up your confidence, practice being confident and you will get to your greatest potential. Learn a skill. Learn how to smile. Learn how to draw boundaries and keep them. Life is sweet o. You have a great future ahead of you.

girl, I understand how you feel. Av traveled the same road before. I advice you to concentrate on getting a securing a job and establishing yourself. Besides, what makes you think it will work out now, given that you had to quit before you traveled. He's not gonna change, unless you are willing to accept him just as he is. Well, goodluck ![]() 1 Like |

190: ex's are meant to be found in the gutterThat's a mean thing to say. For an ex to belong to a "gutter" that means you too are from the "gutter" cos like minds flow together. Its normal to feel guilty, but that should not be enough reason to go back. Every experience has a lesson to teach. So move on. 5 Likes |

I visited a friend recently, only to meet her in a state of deep concern- her husband of eight years had another family elsewhere. His frequent 'visits' to his home town was to ensure that the 'other woman' was doing fine with his kids. The funny thing is that they lack nothing. My friend has a lovely set of kids and runs a good business. She's at the point of breaking down. What should I tell her? Have you ever lied to your wife?

Hello Nairalanders, am a single lady in a relationship of two years. Recently, we had to part because of his work. I met this new guy and he's swept me off my feet. Against my will, am beginning to fall in love with him. I enjoy every second we spend together,I feel much more comfortable around him as we play and chat like kids. My boyfriend is ok, but he's more touchy and sensitive. I have to watch every word I say to him cos he just flares up at the slightest provocation. I find myself loving him less and less every day. The new guy is asking for my hand in marriage but am scared. He's had series of girlfriends in the past and am afraid of ing a disease, yet I miss him whenever we are apart. We agreed. never to have sex till we get married. Am confused |

Wily+Wily:Willy, if I were you,I'd stop to think before saying what I know nothing about. I grew up in zammfara, infact my family still resides there. Gusau is very peaceful, as there has NEVER been any crisis even when Sharia was introduced. Well, as for where you can stay, tudun wada area is mostly preferable as a lot of christians reside there. Don't allow fear to stop you from achieving your goals. I wish you a happy stay there. God bless you. |
