A wrapped of Akpu cost One hundred Naira. The same wrapped Akpu cost N1687 in Europe.
Cars costs 20-50k Euros in Europe.
The same cars are sold for 30-40 million naira in Nigeria.
Why should we be buying car in millions?
Europe are buying it way too cheaper, just ordinary 20-50k.
Shey all of us wan mumu for this country?

Hi,
It's best you read through this thread. I know its a lot, but its what I did when I started my journey. I didn't use any agents & got most of my info from here. Honestly, getting ission isn't the issue, it's securing a visa interview appointment at the embassy. If you recently graduated with a first-class (not sure about 2:1), you will have better chances at Category-A. Otherwise, waiting times for Category-B are taking up to 18 months or thereabouts.
Search for your studies at daad.de or 'uni-assist website'. Ensure your program is in English 100% to avoid wahala. Also, make research on the school or town in question. Where you reside here sometimes determines your quality of life as an immigrant. Goodluck.
Thanks for the information Bro.
18 months is a lot for someone that is seeking to start in 2024 Winter semester.
What if i get the ission and don't get to meet up with the Visa interview appointment, would the ission be voided?
As for research on town, i tend to Google the cities the Universities on Daad.de shows me, as to know if its a town or City, and their population also.
I feel that cities would give better opportunities than towns, i don't know if my feelings are actually valid?
As for research on the school, i don't know the aspect i should concentrate on, since i believe foreign schools are somewhat standard on a general scale.
I didn't graduate with a first class, and i don't know if the wait is worth it for a visa interview, or for me to seek ission in UK or another country altogether.

The joy in my heart knows no bound.. to know that they are already in June and I booked July 14th makes me happy. After the long wait I will be giving appointment very soon. I still have two ission intact, one gave me a new ission offer letter December for 2024/2025 why the other ission was deferred.
Howfr bro, please how did you go about applying for ission for your school in ?
Since you have already gotten ission, please can you give me ideas on how you applied, as to cut my ission seeking wandering short.
I've been moving from page to page online.

It's for BSC applications
For someone that wants Winter Semester, can he apply now?
I'm not seeing the option at Uni-assist, only summer semester.

Lol, it will be 19monthd ++, but you can shortened it to weeks if you have a scholarship. That way, you'll get a date in 4 weeks
Please do You know the requirements for scholarship?

If you have a first class in the last two years, then you'll get a date for interview in four weeks. If not, you'll have to wait 19+ months to get a date for interview for . Almost all public schools are free in but for one state which charges €1500 per semester. You'll need a block of €11,208 euros to be "blocked" in a German , then you'll be issued €934 monthly from it when you arrive in . Use www.daad.de for search for schools.
For UK, you can check the UK thread. But I'll advice you to have 70% of your tuition paid, and living expenses for at least 6 months because getting jobs for pay tuition in UK is now fairytale, unless you're going with a dependant on a research based MSC. Even at that, get your tuition.
I didn't graduate with a first class though, 2.2 grade.
So the interview would now require 30 months if at all?
Wow

I did computer science, I'm into IT, so would most likely thread that part as my study program.
Please do you know a school or something usefull i can start with?

Hello,
Life is fine. Cost of living has risen but that's a global problem. Weather on average isn't amazing but Summer and spring is glorious. Bureaucracy would drive you crazy sometimes but we can endure. Hardwork does pay especially if you understand the law of the land. And learning German improves your quality of life ten-folds. Salary here is low compared to the US & the taxes are higher here too. Though cost of living is lower in and the health insurance system is awesome.
Getting jobs as an international student isn't hard. Depends on the type of job. inside a warehouse like Amazon etc. can be done within a short time but office jobs may be harder to get without German language skills. Unless you're in IT, there english can help you land nice office jobs. Internships are available as well. Sometimes, the faculty may pair with institutes and one can take advantage of those.
Germans are not the friendliest people; know this and know peace . Their culture can be cold and direct. They're hard to crack into as friends but once you're in, they're amazing and will defend you to the core. In big cities like Hamburg, Koln, Berlin etc. you will find nearly all nationalities. SO you can make friends with anyone and find your tribe.
Housing can be tough depending on the city. In the bigger cities there is lots of competition for housing so folks may live an hour or more away from the center. some could get lucky and find something within the city in a nice area. depends on luck, networking etc. Also if you have a high budget, getting a house is quicker.
Wish you good luck!
I ire the way you responded to the guy.
Please I'm done with computer science in Nigeria.
I intend to study in or UK, as first choice. On or before September this year.
But I've just been wandering online, but decided to use nairaland to get information.
Please do you know where i can start? Any info or hint.
I'm into IT.

I did computer science, seeking ission in but don't about the schools there.
I already know they require students to pay money into an , of which the Student wouldn't have access to withdraw it, untill they start schooling in .
I'm also contemplating UK or any other country, any useful information please?
