You think a few upstair houses is what makes a city developed?

You think you can deceive us with pictures taken from the sky?

Show us the street level so we can see your filthy open gutters, muddy roads, and no sidewalks for pedestrians.

Go on YouTube and see for yourself. There are many vloggers showing street level activity in Aba. There are even ones showing the streets of Aba after heavy rain.

you just post buildings here, you never mention the estate. I'm talking of Estate here. Read my post well. I only appreciate the huge works governor Peter mbah is doing in Enugu State. He built conference centre and 3 star hotel too.

This is liberty estate. Show me any estate in Ibadan comparable to this

Aba is the second dirtiest on earth
Second only to Onitsha

No one is moving to Aba from Lagos or from anywhere else people only move out not in to Aba

I pray you remain deluded. Go to osisioma and see how many traders have left Lagos and other parts of Nigeria to set up their factories. lol. Don’t worry your eyes will clear soon.

Lagos in 2025 is the dirtiest place in Nigeria followed by Abeokuta then Ibadan. Everyone is complaining of the smell once they enter Lagos.

This estate beat some estate in Enugu State. I only pity some people that compared Ibadan city centre to some city in the South East.

Please don’t ever mention Ibadan and Enugu in the same sentence again. Enugu is very advanced in development when compared to Ibadan.

This is Enugu.

Aba ?
The second dirtiest place on earth

I know Aba very well

Yes Otti has rescued PH road which is good but that is just the tip of the problem

Aba is a proper dwelling place for pigs so don't think you can bluff a person that does not know the area

This is the rainy season when Aba truly shows the world how dirty the Ngwa people can be.

Lagos is actually the dirtiest city in Nigeria right now. No city comes close. Even dirty smelly Ibadan is cleaner than Lagos. I know you think Lagos starts and ends in lekki, Ikoyi and VI but they only make up 5% of real Lagos.

Aba was dirty in some heavily trafficked areas with markets. That has completely changed today.

Yes

Jesus was from Mbaise

The day the capital cities of South west including Ibadan, oshogbo, ado-ekiti, Abeokuta, and Akure reach the development levels of non- capital city of Aba is the day we can have real conversation about development. This conversation is beyond you.

Soludo is more focused on developing awka , the money he is spending to develop awka if that money was spent to transform Onitsha the economic hub of Anambra, I believe by now Anambras revenue from Onitsha alone could have doubled

I am not against development of Awka. I am just angry at the neglect of Onitsha.

Onitsha is the goose that lays the golden egg.

And Onitsha was never capital of anywhere. If you are asked to name one place in your Region that you people developed without it ever being capital, you won't be able to point to one place

Onitsha, Aba, Nnewi are all non capital cities rapidly developing despite decades of non governmental .

People always forget this.

You know they are selfless people

They are determined to develop the rest of the world first
They have fully developed Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore
Once they finish developing South Africa they will turn to Onitsha

The south east remains the fastest developing region in Nigeria right now. And it will stay that way in the coming decades.

Soludo thinks he can be everything at the same time, he doesn't mind relieving the Chairman of Onitsha LGA to act in his stead 😂

Soludo is essentially the proverbial Eze onye agwanam

Aba and Onitsha....a tale of two cities, and the contrasting approach to their governance and development by their respective state gov'ts!

Both Onitsha and Aba are the pride and face of their respective states....the geese that lays their golden eggs! But whereas Otti recognises this fact and has thrown all he has into trying to change the story and negative perception of Aba, Soludo on the other hand has largely ignored Onitsha and instead channeled most of his time and effort into developing Ekwulobia! Make this make sense!

My dear brother it’s depressing to me just watching what’s happening. The waterfront of Onitsha is its greatest asset together with main market yet both are neglected.

When soludo was running for governorship, one of the things I expected him to do was to create a special agency for the city of Onitsha to guide the development and modernization. This is the most common sense thing to do. Yet it’s rocket science to Anambra governor.

Otti came in and one of the first bill signed was the Greater Aba development authority.

I recently watched a 10 mins documentary of the plans Aba development authority has and I was angry that Onitsha has none.

Aba development authority is very ambitious and modernization plan that they have for Aba and the 5 surrounding localities is very impressive.

Soludo will likely win the next election but Anambra people need to come to with the reality facing them.

My own is…has the funding been agreed and is it available!? Forgive me for being cynical, but all these sexy 3-D renderings don’t get me excited anymore!

Funding is secure. Otti is one person that does his due diligence before doing anything.

But you have every right to remain cynical considering the mental and emotional torture various slippery governors have put us through.

Let’s flip the script. Imagine Peter Obi is President of Nigeria, and Lagos is governed by Fashola, Tinubu, or Sanwo-Olu. Now ask yourself—would a sitting President Peter Obi be invited to commission a culvert in Lagos?

The answer is no. Our politians do not play that level of bitter politics. Even buhari visited abia during the time of ikpeazu and he commissioned multiple projects.

it seems Isiala Ngwa is the New Umuahia, the surprising thing is how this big project is being executed very quietly .

please dont give the president such to commission rather give him the Port Harcourt Road to commission , let someone like Ebitu Ukiwe commission this or any of the elder statesmen like Kalu idika kalu , ABC Nwosu etc so that someone will not come and claim this glory in future as his achievements

Also I would like to add that a brand New Umuahia capital city is in the works. They will release to new city plan. It will double the current size of Umuahia with more modern infrastructure.

Otti is close to Tinubu more than we would like to it. It doesn’t mean he is not loyal to LP but he has the ears of the president. I agree with your suggestion though.

The Abia Medical City is a public-private partnership (PPP) initiative aimed at reducing medical tourism by providing world-class healthcare services within Nigeria. This ambitious project envisions a sprawling medical complex that will host multiple specialty centers, delivering comprehensive and advanced care across various fields.

Designed to meet modern international standards, the facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and cutting-edge medical technology.

Originally scheduled for launch during President Tinubu’s visit to Abia State in May, the project’s unveiling has been briefly postponed to June.

It’s time to focus on Igbo only interests.

When Yoruba Ronus started this, they never expected it would backfire.

Chiditweets has been on a campaign to expose Yoruba with their skulls mining practices that they ignored for decades.

Now Ronus are begging him.

The igbos of this generation are not our parents generation who allowed Lagos-Ibadan media false narratives about igbos to reign for decades.

Social media is the new battle ground and Ronus are already crying and begging.

No those herdsmen are part of IPOB.

On nairaland every crime in the south east is labeled IPOB.

Unfortunate crimes that used happen in the past are all today labeled under IPOB.

They kidnap someone its IPOB
They steal from someone it’s IPOB
They injure someone, it’s IPOB

Just to smear a group with bad name to justify mistreatment of normal hard working Igbo people.

I warned that if VAT goes through, it will lay the legal foundation for restructuring of the oil and gas sharing formula.

The problem with yorubas is that they want a Nigeria where they can eat their cake and also have access to other peoples cake.

Once VAT laws goes through, you will see what’s coming next.

I saw mansions in that axis particularly around Abriba. I just couldn't recognize uzuakoli, item, ovim . Even the governor made the roads super smooth.

Seriously Otti is doing well with rural roads. I was impressed.

OduduwaNow:

Same with Igbo and Yoruba.
Hence the use of the Central Dialect for the two also.

Not true. Dialect is not the same as language.

Igbo speak different dialect of the same language. Meaning that igbos can understand each other most times no matter the dialect. You can never see Igbo people gather together and be speaking pidgin English.

Ijaw language on the other hand is specific to western ijaws. The other groups that they claim as part of them do not speak the same language.

This is a major difference
horsepower102: 12:41pm On Dec 13, 2024
If you put everyone that Ijaws claim to be part of them in a room, they cannot understand each other.

Why? Simple they speak different languages.

Not Dialect but completely different languages

That’s why they use pidgin English communicate.

How can a tribe not have a common language? It’s simple, it a fraudulent tribe. It doesn’t exist in the numbers that they claim.

Their desperation to claim others is forcing them to create a common language in 2024.

Please anyone that is close to Gov. Peter Mbah should advise him to reconsider this airline and invest in light rail/ intracity rail infrastructure. It will be more beneficial to the masses in Enugu than aeroplane.

Profit margin with airlines is very small and can become a burden to the state.

Let me ask though...

Does any Yoruba man has land in Benin, Port Harcourt, Yenegoa, Warri, etc?

I will save you time. The answer is NO.

These people have no intention of adding to the development of other peoples land. The most selfish and tribalistic group ever know to man.
