I just had my interview. It was a success. But I was told to bring the original copy of my birth certificate and submit at the DHL office alongside my port. I was also told that once I submit them my visa will be ready for collection in 10 days. Will I say I was foolish to have submitted the photocopy? Lol. Anyways I’m excited. Thank you all. Whew! What a journey.

Na wa oh. No one is talking about Ikoyi port office. Is it a dead zone? I did my capture since August. Was there yesterday and status still says AA. What kind of wahala is this? I though that by now August applicants will be getting their ports.

Good day all. I don’t know how to type my concerns. Anyways, my port is expiring next year July. My interview is next year January. My port validity will be exactly 6 months on a day before my interview. Problem: As soon as I scheduled my interview in July and I got a date for next year, I proceeded to renew my port cause I no wan hear story(na the story I dey now). August 4th, I completely all I needed for the application , did my biometrics… all the gbogbotigbo. After 3weeks, I came to check the status, they said it’s being processed (don’t the word they used). Then a month later I came and status Indicated “no record found”. Ah! I asked the officer, he said it may be a system glitch that it will correct itself and I shouldn’t worry but to come back in another 3weeks. I got there and this thing is still saying “no record found”. Met with some senior officers who did wan thing wan thing on the system. The other one even requested for my file(file that I already submitted). At the end of the day they told me to not worry that my port will be ready soon. Ready soon on top no record found abi , ok oh. I sha took their words with a grain of salt. Question: Provided that I don’t get my port next month, What do I do? Can I postpone my interview? Should I abort payment for medicals? Cause if I pay for medicals and miss my interview, it will be a waste of money. Pls I need advice as I’m very unsettled by this. Nigeria wan wound me so. |

Pls my people, I applied for my port renewal since 4th of August. After a month I went to check, they said it’s being processed. Then last month I went to check again, they said “no record found”. I met an officer who told me it could be a glitch. Now I’m back here at their office and still no record found. They said I should go get my file. File that I submitted to them. Then they told me to search some piles of files, I didn’t see mine. What should I do pls? I’m worried cause I need to use the port next month. Nigeria will not kill me.

Treasureprince1: Ok. I was referring to the immunisation. If I don’t have records then I will do it. Only question I asked was if it’s ok to do it at a general hospital. It’s just the immunisation , I don’t mean the basic medical screening which is compulsory at the embassy designated hospital. Seems like my question is kinda complex to understand, lol. Thanks anyways. Appreciate your reply. |

Treasureprince1: Is it a must to be immunised at the embassy designated hospital? I have no immunization records and I want to go to a general hospital to get it done. I understand that if I don’t have any immunization records then I have to pay to get it done at the embassy designated hospital. |

Pls is it ok for me to go get immunised at the “general hospital”, after which I will have the record which I will present at the embassy designated hospital?

Good day everyone. While awaiting my appointment date I went ahead to do my police report only to then get my appointment slated for January 2021. Now the police report says it’s valid for 3 months. Do you think I need to do another one in December? Also, I heard that the medicals have to be done like 2weeks prior to the interview cause I will take it with me on the D day. Is it ok to do the medicals 3weeks before or when exactly?

Hello guys. My case status showed ready so I went to pay the visa fee and filled the form. I was also sent the confirmation page. Now what do I do , regarding getting an interview date? I checked on the site for next step but it’s just showing the Abuja and Lagos addresses. I’m clueless.
