I was ing through hard times. I had just lost my job and everything was going upside down.

I informed friends and family but no one was forthcoming with any help. After several months of failed attempt to raise funds, I opted to sell the only land I have for 1.5M so I could finance the business.

I think you should just have allowed him. It shows that he still value you to be willing to pay that amount on your health..... Sometimes, events happen to stop us from taking a step. Have you paused and prayed about it?. Maybe that's not the best idea.... Think and pray more and please take care of health, try as much as possible not to let things bother you talkless of overthinking
