It's really sad a president still sees himself as opposition...

Who the hell is he talking to? The same thing he said to campaign against Jonathan is what he is still repeating 10 Years later after his party took over power and now president

No state of emergency, no wucha wucha on the community, no statement from president, no insults and the audacity statement from Tinubu ers, they just read it an move on.

But they will tell you security has improved under Tinubu and that Tinubu is working to fix Nigeria

Nope. It will increase because it has always been increasing these past years just that the growth % is still small. It’s 3% yoy when it should have been 7% at least.

Our GDP can increase and it will keep increasing especially when they rebase soon.

My argument is that the only major direct reason for the sharp decrease like over 200% wipe off is majorly because of the naira devaluation.

—A day before Tinubu devalue the currency, our GDP was $363bn

—A day after naira devaluation, GDP fell to almost $190bn

Tell me any economics in the world you will use to explain that abrupt decrease of over 100% in 1 day.

So why hasn't it increased for about 2 years now and why is it still decreasing instead?

An at what point would it start increasing and when would that be?

And please don't talk about rebasing here because the rebasing does not increase the salary or earnings of any Nigerian...

Lol shaking your head for me as per Wetin?

Yes, they will have lesser GDP in dollar value comparatively anytime they devalue their GDP until they then pick up by producing more to beat that devaluation. Also, the her percentage is their devaluing? Nigeria devalue by over 250%.

How does where I live affect our discussion? Stay on the topic, don’t digress

You are still repeating this your analysis, so in other words you are saying Nigeria's GDP will never increase until the price of dollar falls...

mrvitalis:

Oga i don't know what your problem is with comprehension.. But let me break it down for you

Even if you remove dollar and compare it to stable object like gold, silver, etc that you can buy with local currency you can see the the drop in value

This is not a naira to dollar issue this is naira lossing value bases in useless government policy

Argentina devalued it currency by 50% or so yet there GDP grew

Obj devalued our currency by 50% yet our GDP grew

Your president mismanagement of the economy is responsible

Are you minding legendhero?

I've been following your discussion here with him and I was just shaking my head here for him.

If we are to go by his analysis then countries like China that constantly devalue their currency for economic purpose should be having lesser GDP each time they do it but if you check the reverse is what happens most times that's because of proper planning and well laid down policies.

And funny thing is this guy lives in America and yet ing every evil thing to destroy what he calls his own country because of tribalism...

What if the real intention of the powers behind Natasha is just to see Akpabio step down? In Nigeria's politics, you never know. If she means what she is saying, let her present her proof to the court. She refused to go to court, and she refused to prove anything. She is just riding on sentiments and vibes, and you say someone should lose their job for someone not ready to prove their case?

Try and understand when I say step down, step down does not mean he has lost his seat, step down doess not mean he is guilty, step down means he cannot be the judge over a case that involves him because that is what he did.

The deputy senate president is supposed to preside till the whole issue is over, but that's not what he did....

He is supposed to seat down with Natasha on the as an ordinary senator till the investigation is over if he is cleared he goes back to his seat if he is found guilty the recommends the punishment for him likewise Natasha, but guess what she is the only one they asked to seat for and she was the only one they pusnished...

And he was the one who precided over a matter that involved him...

Are you saying justice has been served?

GDP that was being subsided by Foreign reserve

There is no money in the foreign reserve to give fake strength to naira against dollar anymore

This is the first time that we are seeing the actual value of naira against dollar

And where did the foreign reserve come from?

You have changed mouth. Is the due process not being followed because Olisa Agbakoba is on representing Akpabio?

Look, that is what I had been advocating for. Akpabio should step down let investigation take place, whoever is guilty should face the law, That is why I am taking sides with Natasha because if Akpabio has nothing to hide he will allow due process take place and if she is found guilty then she should be punished...

Likewise him Akpabio,

What is Akpabio scared of ?

That's why I'm taking sides with her...

Because as it stands justice has not been delivered on the issue whether on Akpabio or Natasha and that is because of how Akpabio handled it.

Now nobody knows the truth and people have taken sides, Akpabio did not act Like a leader at all, that is why I'm against him on this matter.

And that is why Nigeria is the way it is, no transparency...

Just imagine that he followed due process and proved his innocence, imagine the hatred people will have for Natasha, but is that what he did?

Is he too big to prove his innocence to Nigerians ?

Have you seen the series of expose on Natasha that came out last night by someone she tried to recruit to nail Akpabio. The lady came with facts and evidences. You guys are just jokers. She's messed with you youth, and she called you all gullible and hungry. Go and watch it on Facebook.

Does it change the fact that the right thing should be done?

Let due process take place and if she is found guilty she should be nailed...

What makes you feel you are the path of justice and he is not?

Because I'm only asking for equal opportunity to be given for both the acc and the accused.

That is not the case here, Akpabio should have stepped down and faced the just like Natasha and any one found guilty should face the law.

Is that what they did?

I doubt.what we heard is 100million Dollars which is way still too high.
But most Google search is 100m Dollar written as the cost of the jet
They bought for 100 million dollars and refurbished it with 50 million dollars, that's a customized plane to meet with presidential standard.

110 billion for 18 schools, that's less than 10 billion per school, yet Tinubu budgeted 10 billion for only solar power in Aso rock, 21 billion to renovate Shettima's house and over 250 billion to buy new plane for himself, he throws crumbs as help for media propaganda and praise while lavishly spending billions on nonsense for himself and his cronies..

If they ventured into becoming lawmakers to make make money instead of making laws and they are not seeing the money,

They should have resigned by now, why will people like Doguwa who have about 30 children be killing people and spending about 250 million naira to get reelected every 4 years?

If there is no money there as he claims, there are people ready to do their jobs for free from each of their constituencies just to make the country work

Amotekun are trying that's why we are not witnessing consistent attacks in SW but they need to up their game and reduce Fulani barbarity to 0.

I strongly doubt you live in Nigeria...

Who's talking about stick and cutlasses ?

Small cultist boys sef get English .

It's only those that makes noise about their doings that state actors disarm ,that's why it's hard to disarm Fulani herdsmen because they don't make noise ,they only sneaked in ,attacked then disappeared.

Moreover, vigilantes carry guns ,though it's dand guns ,it's still better than without guns at all and with coordinated effort ,they will win .

It's a dog eat dog world man ,no loose guard .

So why hasn't Amotekun and all the hunters in the south west being able to stop them in the South west ?

since they all have guns too?

Show me ,also ,the index of attack is out there ,I can show you as well .

Fulani herdsmen killings just resumed recently ,Tinubu hasn't done anything about it ,that's why I advocate for self defence .

Fulani herdsmen killings did not just resume, it's been on, you are advocating for self defence with what?

sticks and cutlass against AK47's?

what of the Nigerian army going after communities that have tried that in the past till now, is Tinubu not commander in chief of the military?

Why do they attack people who try to protect themselves from herdsmen but don't attack the herdsmen?
Brendaniel: 6:21pm On Apr 27

Fulani has been killing innocent people since 90s but no government has found solution to it .

If you're not an hypocrite, you will know that Tinubu has decimated banditry attacks .

Fulani killing people is a resurgence which current government will find solutions to it ,but for the mean time, defend yourself against Fulani herdsmen. They're dangerous and wants your land .

Tinubu decimated banditry attacks? this past week alone I can show you about 10 bandit attacks that have taken place on Nairaland front page...

but that's not even my major point here....

What has Tinubu done in regards to Fulani herdsmen attacks since he came into office?

Why not blame Macron? Like we typically say back home, if the government provided jobs, people won’t be doing fraud and crime.

Trump and Macron should be impeached.

That means Trump and Macron are handling the mess Tinubu produced ed by people like you...

Nigerians are some of the most despised people on earth.

That's the truth, and it is not entirely without justification.

That said, I don't know where I kept my British port, and I havent bothered to check in years. Last time I was London, I arrived on a Friday and left on Monday. I couldn't wait to be back in this our 'terrible' Nigeria. I don't even hate the UK. I just have zero interest in living in a foreign country.

I am so much content being at 'home'. Not that Nigeria is great. Infact, it is terrible is certain respects. But strangely, being in Nigeria gives me a mental satisfaction that no other country on earth gives me.

I can't truly explain the feeling.

Where is your country?
