They actually don't kick, except when provoked, and they don't kick their owners.
Did I also mention that they are better security guards than dogs? They are gifted with a 350 degrees eyesight, any intruder or thief gets kicked. 🐎πŸ’ͺ🏾

The Equine Economy: How Horses Are Raking in Millions silently

Horses have been loyal companions to humans for thousands of years, but their value goes far beyond their role as beloved pets. These majestic creatures play a significant role in the global economy, generating billions of dollars in revenue each year.

Breeding and Sales

The horse breeding industry is a lucrative business, with top-tier stallions and mares selling for millions of dollars. The global horse breeding market is projected to reach $15 billion by 2025, driven by increasing demand for high-quality horses in equestrian sports.

Racing and Events

Horse racing is a multi-billion-dollar industry, with events like the Kentucky Derby, Royal Ascot, and Polo drawing in massive crowds and lucrative sponsorships. The industry s thousands of jobs and generates significant revenue for governments through betting and taxation.

Tourism and Recreation

Horseback riding is a popular recreational activity, with many stables and ranches offering guided tours and horse-riding lessons. Equine tourism is a growing industry, with horse-drawn carriage rides, horseback riding vacations, and horse camps attracting tourists worldwide.

Therapy and Healthcare

Horses are increasingly being used in equine-assisted therapy, helping people with physical, emotional, and mental health issues. This growing industry is creating new opportunities for horse owners and trainers.

Agriculture and Conservation

Horses are still used in some agricultural settings, particularly in sustainable and organic farming. They're also used in conservation efforts, such as habitat management and wildlife conservation.

The Bottom Line

The economic importance of horses cannot be overstated. From breeding and racing to tourism and therapy, horses play a vital role in generating revenue and creating jobs. As the equine industry continues to evolve, it's clear that horses will remain an integral part of our economy and culture.

DSS na your mate? Smh.

Even Russia has dissociated itself from anything about Nigeria's fuel subsidy removal etc.

This is why it's important to understand that this protest was largely organised and funded by unpatriotic elements, anti-state actors and those still embittered at their defeat and defeat of the mediocre candidates they ed during last year's Presidential election won by President Bola Tinubu as the democratic choice of patriotic Nigerians.

All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose. God bless Nigeria for ever!

Hello nairalanders, I'm from Eastern Nigeria (Anambra state) pricisely. Was born and brought up in the north, Niger State!

I don't really know why things are too expensive in the southern part of Nigerian than the north.

I don't even like coming home sometimes (east) due to the unnecessary high cost of living in the southern region.

Everybody is just so greedy and selfish. Especially how I read here on nairaland.

If not for terrorism and banditry, here is one of the major part of the country where the poor can actually live their lives and train their children.

Below are some of the prices of commodities in my local community.

1. this plate of rice is #500

2. This yam was bought from one of my mom's customers for #4,000

3. This fufu and egusi soup is #600

4. The Yam in the fourth picture was bought for #12,000

I have a lot of images to and their prices but nairaland is telling me that I have exceeded limit of image . Don't know how this site works properly
Please can you help get some basic food stuff expecially the yam and send to me in ikorodu lagos, or any location of your choice in lagos?

So, I applied for the Fg grant. Message was sent for nin verification, did the verification. Then just this afternoon, I received a suprise credit alert of N50,000.

This is a good move but I strongly believe that the country will experience a positive economic turnaround.

God bless the great Jagaban and all lovers of this great country, Nigeria.

PS: Picture added. This is not just about me rushing to post this. I'm not a hungry man. But this is as a proof that the Fg Grant is not a scam.

Though the naysayers can't repent but we move with HOPE. Nigeria SHALL be great in our time.

The grant has arrived with evidence.
Please how did you apply?

Good day to you all.

I need your opinion on what business I can start with 500k. I have someone willing to assist me with that amount because my current job is both mentally and physically exhausting. However, the person wants me to explain how I will use the money and what business I will pursue. I have until the end of the month to provide a plan.

I was thinking of starting a printing business and also selling phone accessories since I live in a student-dominated area with a polytechnic nearby. However, I'm concerned about the potential downturn when students go on holiday, leaving the area empty. The economy is also not favorable. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

How I Helped My Sister With Food Items And Accessories To Take To Canada.
Recently, my sister escaped from this hard country to Canada for greener pastures. Many of you knew me on this site as that young girl with sharp mouth. Well, I may be choleric but I m also nice.
So this February, sister went to Ontario. I knew she'd miss home. I went to Wuse market and nearby street shops n bought varieties. I waka-waka my rubber slippers cut. My sister is a picky type that eat light foods but she still love our local dishes. She's going to miss home 😭 and I just want her to v her favorite foods as long as she can. Though she can patronize African stores over there too.
As I m typing this, I can't wait to see her, am so happy for her and I hope to relocate too via marriage in future. Hm, God when?

Anyways I ll list some of the items as I post them here. They are educative and useful for people going abroad too. There are some items you can take along like razor blades, shaving sticks, stock fish, palm oil, locust beans, garri, beans, rice, onions, matches, polish, makeup props, grinded beans for moinmoin or akara, crayfish, beans, balls, sellotape, dried pepper, potash, bathroom slippers, cleansers, needles and threads to sew post letter tear-tear undies or clothes. πŸ˜‚ In fact, just carry any small daily use item we use here and conceal them well cos of over sabi long throat immigration officers at airport. It ll shock you you can buy a packet of blade that's not up to N1,000 for over $20 Canadian dollars, that's over N20K in Nigeria. Imagine blade pack kan for N20K? It no shock you?
So below are items I packed for her and she's enjoying them there. πŸ˜‚

Pic 1, Carton of coaster biscuit, table size mortar and pestle for her to grind pepper and packs of match sticks.
Congratulations to your sister.
Which of the items where not allowed to go with her?
