On 24th September 2024, I decided that I have had enough of taking my chances at getting justice from a judge that, in June 2021, sent me to secret police detention without fair hearing, later refused to transfer me to prison to better prepare for my trial and capped it all by refusing to restore my bail and instead ordered an accelerated trial in the face of the reality that I will never get a fair trial whilst detained at the DSS. These are the major reasons that compelled me to request recusal of the judge and having consented to it, she proceeded to make an order removing herself from my case. That order was never challenged on appeal; thus it remains extant to this day. But instead of the Chief judge of the Federal High Court to do the lawful thing by asg my case to another judge, he connived with the federal government to eat crow and send my case to a judge that stands recused by a valid order.

Justice Binta erred by accepting to rescue herself from the case on the prompting of Kanu.

The only time a judge can do such thing on their own volition is when it is openly established that a conflict of interest exist such as a relative to the judge is a witness in the case for or against any of the parties in court.

None of that exists .

Justice Binta Nyanko was probably fed up overseeing the case brought before her to accept on the prompting of the defense to rescue herself.

Normally , before a judge can be forced to hands off a case were no obvious interests exist, the party in the case demanding for such must establish evidence in a petition written and addressed to the Judiciary Council stating why the judge must be replaced.

None of this happened and that's why Justice Nyanko was told by her superiors to continue with the case.

Kanu's latest outburst in court demanding Justice Nyanko rescue herself on the baseless grounds that she is biased against him are just another one of several tantrums by Kanu to stall his trial.

From Kanu's outburst against Justice Nyanko , he demanded that his case be transferred to a Federal High Court in the SE and the case file reassigned to an Ibo judge.

According to Kanu, only a Federal High Court in the SE with an Ibo judge presiding over his case can ensure a free trial.

First he accused Nyanko of bias and from his demands so far demanding the case be reassigned to the SE zone under an Ibo judge , we can deduce that the tribal goat is projecting his own tribalism on Justice Nyanko by assuming she holds a grudge against him because he is Ibo and so can not preside fairly over his case.

Kanu is now tribalising his ongoing trial by gaslighting Justice Nyanko so as to stall proceedings.

There's also the high chance that if Kanu's demands are met , any judge assigned to his case at the Federal High Court in Enugu will face death threats from IPOB operatives.

Kanu is desperate to get his case out of Abuja and to the SE were he feels he can intimidate any judge or get his terrorists to spring him out of detention .
