The same people who always accuse EFCC of media trials are the same people angry that EFCC did not do media trial in this case. Emiefele was the one who completely failed in the tenure of Buhari. Buhari trusted him too much. The same Meffy attempted to his neighboring brother to win by depriving us of cash just before election. Thank God Tinubu won through the power of God. 1 Like |

If anything, this throwback tweet seems to even suggest that the man has thought this thing through and is not just offering a knee-jeck solution. The FG really need to try and explain the tax laws in a language primary school pupils can understand. They may also need to use influencers and popular figures to throw more light on it before all these enemies of states lie about the tax bill about things that the tax bill did not say and then run away with the lie. |

This was the statement you made to the other guy. Apart from food, medical and education are other areas that benefit everyone not just the poor that are not VATed

There is nothing he said there that is different from what the tax bill states. The tax bill does not propose an increase in VAT but that the collection point should no longer be collected by the FG on behalf of all the states in only Lagos, rather the collection point should be in the state where the items are consumed. then after collection, instead of the 15% that the FG used to get, they will now be collecting 10%, then the states that used to collect 50% will now start collecting 55% while the LGA will own their normal 35%. Please note that the tax bill is even more than VAT issue, but in this case it is VAT we are discussing. Ezewuzie01: 1 Like |

I may be wrong but the tax bill does not even propose an increase in VAT, so that even means that the man has been consistent. Gbam you don get am finish. This is the reason many of them fear him, they know that the man is very long term forward thinking not like the others who just like to play to the gallery like small girls seeking attention. When Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore was pursuing serious reforms in his time, there were those who opposed him with what seemed like good reasoning then, but look at them today. casualobserver: 9 Likes |

Obi has not even shown that he has the capacity to think of something this bold, what he would have been very good at doing will be to attend as many burial ceremonies in the country rather than the actual work of leadership. aariwa: 11 Likes 3 Shares |

If there is any further proof that Tinubu is a great leader, it is even this. He has proven that he will not because of fear of a reelection not do what he believes is right just to please some people. All previous leaders have known or got to know what the right thing to do but have been afraid to take these bold decisions opting instead to follow popular paths even though they know on the long run will not benefit anyone. When Singapore and China were taking those though decisions many years ago, there were many who complained but today, those countries have become leaders in their own rights. 9 Likes 1 Share |

You guys think that by creating multiple contents on same topics, that your lie can suddenly become truth? The lie hoebidient gave for losing the presidential election was that the iREV did not work as it should, Edo election, iREV was been updated as the vote counting was ongoing. So far all the primary school analysis have all failed to show how, where and what was rigged in the last election other than just throwing words around. |

Some of the comments above are how you differentiate investors from lazy people. When CBN releases policies like this, savvy investors will be looking out for opportunities herein but naysayers will only be interested in negativity. That we have mobile banking today in the form of Opay, Moniepoint and the likes is because of people who took advantage of previous other policies to create solutions. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Those is one of the misinformation against the bill. This scenario you have described is what is partially presently obtainable. What the bill is saying is that all future consumption should not be allocated to Lagos or Abuja but should be allocated to the state where it is consumed. So if you buy a recharge card in Gboko, the tax on it should be charged to the state where gboko is located rather than allocate it to Lagos and making Lagos look like the only state with high IGR. This is the only guy that I know that does something that resembles investigative journalism, that other hyundai or Ghanian refugee is more or less a rumor monger. If my memory is right, this was the same guy that exposed the LASU and NYSC money for certificate saga. |

One would have thought that since you have so much of our interest in mind, you would have dissected the bill and told us specific areas where it does not benefit us, instead you just try words around and then attempt to force us into a conclusion. blacksam01: 2 Likes |

Story... If there is any region that will suffer from true federalism, I am very such it will not be any of the norther region When the time comes Northerners will benefit more from true federalism. Other than natural resources, they are in fact, hands-on and hardworking people with very little sense of entitlements. |

If you go to Rivers State today, you will still see the schools and hospitals Amaechi built, the flyovers and roads Wike did are also very obvious. If you go to Kano, you can see the infrastructure done by Kwankwanso and Gaduje, now for this una PO, there is nothing that anybody can point to that he did in the whole of Anambra state other than cho cho cho with no evidence. Even the brewery that they always talk about, I have not even see a picture of it or told where the address is. At best PO should be compared with Yahaya Belo and Orthom. That is the level he can shine in. |

Somebody that has an eye for talent is same person you are claiming has a reputation for failure. See, if you want to your brother, you have a right to do so but know that a leader is the one who is able to spot talent and delegate responsibility to them. It is not by the one who attends the most burials that makes you a success OboOlora: 21 Likes |

Okay, it was more of a motivational talk than a direct attack on Obj... Obasanjo is an elder's states man and should always be respected. I would have been disappointed if it was a direct attack on his person. I believe Obj means well. Good news like these never never show up on the news feed of lamba king. This is one of the reasons I do not think that Zalensky guy has sense at all, no sensible leader watches your country being bombed and people killed and not consider other form of resolutions. The hatred Iran has for Isreal is more than the one Ukraine has for Russia but here is Iran considering a cease-fire to avoid further loss of life and properties. Botragelad: |

Not only that, the writer or the person complaining did not deem it fit to mention that al the way from EPE up to the small section that was been worked on had been done the LASG, instead, he did not fail to mention that he thinks that 4th mainland and other ones have been abandoned without talking about the smooth drive from Epe up to the last part that is being worked. Very ungrateful lot. Lithiumite: |

If I was this minister, I will make the document public so that with many eyes viewing the document, it can help them scrutinize the budget so as to identify the padding that civil servants may have inserted into the budget. Expectedly, by the time the budget is presented to the House, we will start seeing strange values and fictitious projects. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

This is one lie many Nigerians tell themselves, in addition to education which that gentleman alluded to, Nigeria benefits from relatively affordable health care. Until recently, Nigeria has been buying cheap fuel. I can go on and on. It was when I sat down at one time to count our blessings that I realize that many of us are not grateful to God for his mercies. Snowx: 2 Likes |

Lol... sensational headline. In the article, lamba king released the money but one of his aide colobe the money. I do not think one can blame lamba king in this case. But why are Nigerians like this? You steal somebody's sweat for a product you are not the one that delivered... And I am also curious as to how a contractor can be impersonated? Most payment have to be made in the name of the contractor, so how did Obi;s PA in this case succeed in collecting the money? 10 Likes 2 Shares |
