Oju Local Government Area in Benue State is plunged into darkness as residents endure for over a month without electricity with no signs of restoration from NEPA. The prolonged blackout has sparked widespread frustration and concern among residents.

This is as a result of explosion from central transformer in the local government.

I can relate.

Yes I know money is involved.

But does it mean the electricity companies don't have money for instances like this? How can you be aware of a transformer malfunction and literally have no means to get it back within a week or so.

Sometimes I just can't for this country..

I wish at least 50 million Nigerians can go and live for just one year in a 1st world country and come back..

When you see instances like this, it's then you realise that our mentality is really poor and we emphasize more on primitive things than things that can actually move us forward in respect to the change in times...ah sigh..
