I’m from Delta state….. I can tell you 1st hand….. Okowa is still in control of all the structures and appointments in Delta State…. Including local government offices and officials…. This is because of future political ambitions…..

A governor that accepted Godfatherism to ride into power….. should be patient and wait for his time to come….. after 8 years he will control his own people…..
Okowa does not control anything
Ibori is still the one in charge of Delta state
The fight is not about godfatherism in Rivers
It's about money
Fubara has no interest in structure as you people call it

Always a big mistake, when a business man wants to dabble into politics. Politics is more complicated than it looks. see what it took for Trump to survive, it almost cost him his life.

🤔

There are 3 options for Musk:

1. He quits politics entirely and focuses his energies only on running his many businesses

2. He quits the Republican Party, but remains in politics and decides to create a 3rd party or an independent candidate (something he has spoken of doing before and something which another Billionaire called Ross Perot tried in 1992 and it cost Republicans the Presidency which they lost to Bill Clinton)

3. He plays the long game and reconciles with Trump in anticipation of throwing his weight behind his own preferred Republican candidate in the 2028 U.S Presidential Elections.

I personally think he'll go for option 3, but nothing is guaranteed at the moment.

For one thing, he can never become a Democrat because they have spent the past decade demonising him as a Nazi, calling him a white supremacist and destroying Tesla car dealerships all over the United States.

Musk himself is forbidden from running for the Presidency of the United States because he is a first generation immigrant.

Under the American Constitution, a first-generation immigrant cannot run for the office of U.S. President.

The U.S. Constitution (Article II, Section 1) requires that the president be a "natural born Citizen" of the United States. This means the person must have been born a U.S. citizen, typically by being born on U.S. soil or to U.S. citizen parents abroad. First-generation immigrants, who are born outside the U.S. to non-citizen parents and later become citizens, do not meet this requirement.

Poor man they advise rich man.

And Trump is third generation immigrant. Born to the son of an immigrant.

All these gbas gbos no concern me, the one wey concern me be say Donald Trump said in his broadcast from the Oval Office while addressing him and Elon’s matter that prices are going down due to his policies and that a gallon of fuel is sold for $1.89 in some states (3024 naira per gallon which means 1 liter there = 756 naira) and this got me thinking 🤔 is Dangote and the APC government really telling the truth about Nigeria having the cheapest fuel price??

It's a false claim..I don't think you can buy gas anywhere in the Midwest for less than $2.6. Gas prices is an average of $3/gallon in my state

Only people who are not vast believe Nigerian politicians are unique. They are the same everywhere as of today.

Loot and strangle the masses to extent that they will be too tired and stressed to protest, and will applaud the most little thing done for them.

Look at the US today, Over 35 trillion in debt and nothing monumental has happened in the country in last 2 decades. Rather, the poor keep getting poorer and the rich getting richer.

Another bill about to be ed which will strangle the middle and lower class and compensate the rich.

I 100% agree with you. They are the same everywhere, their modes of looting and enslaving citizens just different.
Don't compare USA politicians to Nigerian leaders, the latter are self centered and evil

You're shifting goal post.

The idea was that Nigerian Politicians and US politicians were same.

The used were WIKE and FUBARA.

Anyways, youve given your verdict and that is the gold vs wood. I'm glad you can see that one is gold and one is wood.

So don't ever compare anything bad in Nigeria with Anything else - the worst of the worst live here.

Especially looking at the Natural tools given to us.

QED

How old is Nigeria. After slavery and colonization, we are where we ought to be- the storming stage.

We talking about the US. Measure it up to China, Japan and and let’s see where it ranks. Over 50 trillion in debt and nothing to show for it. Note-those debt were incurred in last 40 years.

Some ignorant folks tell you how they have the highest purchasing power forgetting they have $18 trillion consumer debt.

Go back to my first statements. Politicians have different strategies. For a place like the US, debt is the tool. In Nigeria, it’s realistic hardship you can cut across.

Our average basics in Nigeria is a luxury in the USA

They are not, there are jobs, you need not have a connection to secure a job once it is merited, the minimum wage is high, their institution and judiciary are strong and independent. Trump haven't been able to evict any foreign student because of their judiciary. They are not using security personnel to silence dissent views, their politicians are not involved in financial corruption, tell me their politicians that loot or embezzle state fund and walking freely, their national assembly doesn't have a car, house and other allowances, they spend their monthly wages. Have you ever watched their children donating huge amount of money or wasting tax payers money

Lumping nigeria and American politicians probably makes you feel good about yourself in that dump called nigeria, America is 1 million times richer than Nigerians and their politicians don't still 1% of what a nigeria politician steals

How much is the minimum wage? You said high? Can ot qualify you for a basic one bedroom apartment?

You said judiciary strong and a 37 count convicted felon is the president. Please say something else!

Politicians not involved in financial corruption when most got wealth through stocks which they got first hand info about.

You don’t here looting, you here corners!

I would have love to answer all you listed, but as I was progressing with your point, I realized you a genz in the US.

If you want to make your next point, please note that you talking to someone who took his first flight to the US in late 1900

I once read a report in an international financial magazine that says the refinery is uncompleted so he is probably using a non functional refinery to import and distribute fuel that way he makes profit and looks to Nigerians as if the refinery is producing fuel when it actual fact it’s not, just my opinion though

With all due respect and with all modesty, you are not qualified to educate me on stocks.

Take it like that.
