Responding To Peter Obi's Claims That President Tinubu Has Destroyed Nigeria's Economy Peter Obi went on Arise TV to claim that President Tinubu has wrecked Nigeria's economy. He also repeated that allegation on multiple other forums in Nigeria and abroad. https://x.com/renoomokri/status/1929864133408968994?s=48 25 Likes 8 Shares |

Peter obi can't be president, he is just deceiving himself.

My question to Mr Obi is this: If President Tinubu has destroyed the economy, how come a bank in which you have substantial shares (about 10%) and were its former Chairman of the Board? Omo this is thought provoking 46 Likes 12 Shares |

Even if the satan himself is the president, everything set up by Peter "Midas" Obi will always thrive. Businesses, supermarkets, banks, breweries and presidency. That man was born to win. Nigeria misses him after what happened in the last election. 205 Likes 13 Shares |

favouritecandy: Was Reno expecting the bank to fail? And why did he single out only Fidelity Bank? Are there not other banks, why didn't he ask why they haven't failed either? This discussion is a very petty one from Reno, let Reno go to his hometown and count how many businesses that have closed down or still running since Tinubu came on board or is he not concerned about his own people? When would he talk about the plight of his own people, always on Igbo matter and Peter Obi 104 Likes 7 Shares |

This guy is so obsessed with Peter OBI. I wonder why he hasn't paused and asked himself why OBI has never replied him for once. This shows how inconsequential he is. Reno is a butterfly who thinks himself a Bird. 110 Likes 9 Shares |

The economy is bad but some sectors are still thriving. If I am not wrong, I think the banking sector is winning the most. GTCO has gone haywire. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Nairaland is marketing this content creator here, every trash he says goes to FP for us to start arguing like Mumus here. Can we start ignoring Reno Omokri here, he instigates tribalism and sectionalism in us lightwind: 84 Likes 9 Shares |

This might just be the most spectacularly idiotic attempt at attacking Obi so far. Only a true dimwit or a hungry sycophant desperate for crumbs could miss the obvious; the economy is in shambles and everyone with a pulse feels it. So when Reno opens his mouth to say Obi’s bank is thriving in spite of this disaster, he’s not criticizing Obi, rather he’s practically saying Obi is a competent economic manager who knows how to steer a ship through a storm. Amazing how some people manage to humiliate themselves while trying to sound clever. 80 Likes 4 Shares |

Mortuaries and coffin makers have been cashing out on a steady since Balablu came to power. Fuel stations and generator importers will cash out in the absence of regular power supply. Pos operators cashed out massively during the Emefiele cash reprint saga. There are businesses that thrive during disasters. There are others that thrive in bad economy. Singling out a sector that can survive on unregulated charges or tariffs is too pedestrian and a new low for Reno. The strength of an economy is shown in the purchasing power of its currency and in the class of its citizens, not in the quoted profits of a few banks. Nigeria's minimum wage today cannot afford a bag of rice. Reno can only fool APC e-rats. 44 Likes 2 Shares |

That shows how prudent he's always been. Many banks that were established same time as Fidelity had liquidated. They've never made noise yet, keeps achieving great. If fidelity wasn't well managed, would reno the parrot have said this? For me, that's a plus for Obi. The same reno, before he became a sycophant of tinubu, whom he's abused so much, once said, Peter Obi would make a good president as he possessed the quality needed in a leader. What has changed is simple. Reno has a heavy corruption case with the efcc. So now that he's in the apc, his sin has been forgiven. I always pray for and believe in obi's presidency as he's the only one who can truly sanitize the already shattered Nigeria. He may not be a saint, but he's the best amongst the rest, for now. I can't wait for obi to send the parrot to jail. Maybe by then, he'll switch and start calling tinubu a failure again to escape justice, just the way Bwala moved from praising buhari to tinubu whom he once abused openly. Na their way. 20 Likes 1 Share |
