This is what we are talking about. Replicating what drives us out in droves here in Nigeria. If Tinubu get common sense, he should just quickly build a world class renal facility at Umuahia fast. Thank God for this news and for the surgery team. May God continue to be with you and sustain this huge achievement.

It’s 2025, Academia should not dwell in religious space. There is no need for all the attribute to God. Let’s leave religion to individuality and pastors. That’s the profession of spirituality not academic space. We over spiritualize everything. We should leave the unknown or anything outside of human endeavors to God. What we have knowledge of is feat in our capability only. There is a difference and reason we seek formal education.

Muyoatlanta: I beg to differ. Most of us think that education can replace religion, but that's untrue. Education helps us to question everything around us, including the existence of God as it is taught in philosophy and logic 101. The renal team mentioned that they carried out 13 successful transplants, but the team didn't tell us about the unsuccessful ones which could even be more. Why were some successful and others unsuccessful whereas the team applied the same medical procedure? The fact of the matter is, doctors can only apply their experience and expertise to treat patients, but only GOD can heal people. If He says He won't heal you, the doctors are merely wasting their time. Therefore, there must be a place for the God factor in everything we do. Don't joke with God, no matter how educated you think you are. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

This is good..... Ekweremadu should have done his daughter's kidney transplant in Nigeria...... But they build schools that their children can't attend, they build hospitals that can't treat their own children at, they build roads that their children can't drive on..... When u ask them why their children ain't schooling in Nigeria, they suddenly that they also have fundamental human rights ![]() 5 Likes 1 Share |

Very sweet to read. Congratulations to the patients, the team, and the hospital. Congratulations, Naija! I'm sure patients went through thorough counseling, especially concerning post-transplant lifestyle. May God perfect their healing. 3 Likes |
