Chief Grifter and ass licker.

The question now is where has the $1.5bn gone to.

Tinubu has shifted that burden to the average Nigerian while he continues to live in luxury

So when he stopped that, meaning Nigeria earns $1.5billion every month.
So why are we still borrowing without any economic advancement?

So long as 80% of revenue comes from oil money, we are going to keep borrowing

This year, funding for the budget was based on oil remaining at at least 75 dollars per barrel. Since January,it has been below that. It is 60 dollars per barrel now

That leaves us with a funding shortfall which can only be filled by loans.

We can reduce the loan dependency short term by rasing the tax revenue or long term by basing our economy on industrial growth and innovation and exporting manufactured goods and services
so how is he reducing the loan dependency with all the same borrowing.

Spending by giving our hard-earned fx to Dangote through Emefiele to build a refinery that the same corrupt APC poIiticians now the majority sharehoIders. I know all these games

Yes, cbn gave dangote a loan which he had to pay back, but most of the loans were also from international and local banks, and afdb.

No info exists on apc leaders being shareholders in dangote refinery. And some of you were saying they have ownership of foreign refineries and even Niger refinery.

A very intelligent man, he's taking the forgetful ones back in memory lane, as far back as when his boss was in office when billions of dollars was used to pegged the value of naira.
No wonder, Mr Bayo Onanuga said, some Nigerians have a short memory while some are deliberately distorting facts for cheap political narratives.
God bless Nigeria.

See my last paragraph.

We have had the same problem for decades, largely because government relies on selling resources to fund the budget.

The problem is, the prices of these resources be it oil, cotton, cocoa or palm oil or even lithium are not set by us. So we can't set favourable prices, and revenue is always low for budgeting purposes

Taxing the majority of Nigerians who work informally has always been unpopular. And may not yield much. Finally we are not an industrial economy, which could yield hefitier revenues

So, loans.

Government can stop collecting loans, but the result would be super maximum shege ten times over

We know they are thieves,, but we must make assertions with proof.

Someone once told me that buhari had shares in the Niger Soraz refinery..I showed the guy proof that the refinery was run by the Chinese and the Nigerien govt and he kept quiet.

Note that I don't back apc or pdp, and am disappointed and dissatisfied with our democratic experiment

Even if Tinubu loses the next election, Atiku is not going to bring back any subsidy. They might shore up the naira, but subsidy is gone for life.

So why are we still borrowing without any economic advancement?

Because oil revenue has never been enough to fund the budget. And government revenue relies highly on oil revenue. At best we need oil to be above 75 dollars per barrel this year to fund the 2025 budget. It has been below 70 dollars for most of the year.

( Above is also why subsidy of dollar was also stopped. Not enough coming from oil, better get money from elsewhere)

That's why since the 1980s people have been screaming at Nigerian governments to diversify the economy

And saying that apc has failed at diversifying the economy does not mean that I am excusing them as some seem to think

A government that cannot diversify the economy or even make it less resource dependent is incompetent and useless

With all the monies spent on refineries, refusing to buy PMS and other products in naira.

If you issue contracts in naira and pay your contractors in naira also employment 80% of nigerian citizens to do the work, the contractor also have to pay tax, ability by the government officials on everything about the contract, then i believe we can start from there.

How much is road construction p/kilometres?

Uncle cough then go claim network.

What do i even know?.

That is why I say that if you want a prosperous economy, stop voting APC and pdp and especially tinubu and obi and vote a leader who will take us from resource dependency to industrial and science dependent economy.

Like China and South Korea and

This man used to be interested in visiting Egypt, finding more about Jesus christ and offering latest updates on how to make money.

Walahi,,,, hungry no good. Pastor Reno Omokri is so hungry and delusional that he can even call the devil a sweet beautiful angel of light.

Tinubu's subsidy without working refineries and with a market that NNPCL or is it NNPC controls and claims not to control at the same time.

If i debate with this man, i go disgrace am.

What more proof do need? Didn't u see as our fx reserve was depleted why the pace of buiding the dangote refinery was been sped up? That's why I say we people that have worthIess certificates are the problem of this country. Can't u add 1 and 1 to know?

U talk about Nigerien govt. Don't u know that Buhari has more ties with Niger than even Nigeria? Keep deceiving urself

I don't get what apc thinks about governance...

Are they in government to increase the suffering of the masses or are they there to improve the socio-economic conditions of Nigerians?

Reforms must have a purpose beyond making more money available for cronies and the political elites.

You do not throw away the baby with the bath water.

For instance, all Nigerians know that constituency allowances are just avenues to siphon funds into the pockets of legislators, why didn't the government stop it?

Security votes have been abused and looted by governors, why didn't the government stop it?

Apc are just evil...
