If there's no life in the UK,an advance country, then is it in Nigeria that is plaque with different economic problems that is better. They better start returning back home to live a life of Unemployment Insecurity Bad roads Dilapidated educational system Sub standard health care/facilities Endemic corruption. The list is endless, living in Nigeria is akin to living in hellfire 181 Likes 14 Shares |

U.K has been like that for a while now.. even the Whites are not finding it funny talk more of immigrants. The problem with Africans is crowd mentality.. oh because this person has gone abroad, I must go too. Ehnn you don go and your eyes don see am. Oh Africa, blessed continent plagued with bad leaders and docile people.. where some people sleep outside overnight and still carry on fine the next day.. Go try am in UK or Canada and see if you'd live to tell the story. Lastly, Government should do something about these education agents deceiving Nigerians about opportunities abroad, most Nigerian youths are now stranded because of false assurances from these agents. If you must work in Nigeria, get a Nigerian degree.. If you go U.K, then don't come back to look for work in Nigeria. Stay there and stay jobless if you don't get job. As simple as that. That's the only way that Education in Nigeria and Africa will improve and have more worth. 62 Likes 6 Shares |

Don’t let anyone lie to you! If there is no life in the UK, why are they still there? The best thing one can do in Nigeria now is to quit your job, sell your house and all other assets and move to the UK. If you can sell everything in a short time frame and make it to the UK, just know you have made it. They will never tell you that, the UK government will give you €10,000/month for 6 months when you arrive UK. A country where with 6 months of hard work as a nurse or truck driver, you can be able to afford a mansion in Banana Island. Don’t listen to naysayers, they don’t want you to come. If you lucky to be wealthy or have parents who are wealthy, start selling anything you can lay your hands on and come to the UK. Too many jobs in the country and you can never go broke. You can build a 3 story triplex yearly in Nigeria if you hardworking 83 Likes 10 Shares |

Celestialsword: UK: Unemployment Underemployment - You have a degree but work as security guard or Uber driver. High Taxes Depleting your Income You pay rent. Road Tax Car Insurance Water rate Monthly hire purchase payment for your car. Electricity rate Heating and Gas rate Child care fees if you are working and have kids. Nothing like ''housegirl'' there. Council tax Income tax TV licence Phone rate By month end you're broke. Otilo. Only a matter of time before they tax you for the air you breathe. Of what use is ''good road'' and ''good educational system'' when your life is crap? There are good roads in Nigeria too. Leave your village and move to Abuja or Uyo or Enugu. Fine roads everywhere and highly secured. What is ''sub-standard'' about the health care and educational systems? These are the same systems that have produced world class individuals in all spheres, from doctors to engineers and scientists all over the world. A strong Iroko tree does not grow from weak roots. Everything African is always ''sub-standard'' in your 'oyinbo' worshipping heads. One thing you guys need to understand is that the so-called “saner climes” come with a great cost to the people there. They pay through their noses for it. Nigerians are not prepared to see great chunks of their income eaten up by taxes and fees, even if you promise them Dubai environment. We prefer for things to be a bit lax if it means we get to keep more of our money in our pockets to do things we want, like building a mansion in the village, or doing Owambe, or big weddings, or to start a business. That’s our way. We are never going to be like London and America and all these places where people are forced to limit themselves. 72 Likes 8 Shares |

UK is a decaying former power. In 20 Years Nigeria will sur it in GDP. But even when that happens, Nigerians will still believe the UK is where they will find wealth. I'm not against japa though, but Europe is a place to be comfortable and minimalisitic. The people there are not doing as well as people assume. US and Canada are the best possible options, but someone who a strong mind will thrive anywhere. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

The UK is now an extension of Lagos. That's what happens when you open doors for mass influx of people from lawless countries. The probability that you gonna absorb a lot of such people is definitely gonna be very high. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Immigrating without skills, talents and intelligence will ruin many. If you did not develop yourself well in Nigeria, you'd struggle abroad. And for your earnings, you must pay income tax. You must declare the taxes. If you have hospital issue, you might wait for months to get an appointment. Lebanese, Indians and Chinese who have no skills are rushing to Nigeria to find opportunities. If you have no skills, have the eyes to identify and seize opportunities. 52 Likes 7 Shares |

Celestialsword: Economic problems exist everywhere. There are more homeless people in the advanced countries than in Nigeria. You said insecurity. Try and read news from other countries. You'd be shocked at gun killings, stabbings and people using their cars to deliberately hit others. Drug problems? Do you want us to talk about how it has ravaged many abroad? I don't agree that the educational system is dilapidated. Were you not present when UK came to poach Nigerian doctors? Nigerian engineers are working and earning well in IOCs. It is people who are not ready to learn who complain of Dilapidated educational system. Be grateful because it is not a bed of roses elsewhere. You'd think so because you have not been there. You too can make it. 60 Likes 5 Shares |

I know it’s a sponsored post when they say they are too broke to come back, like really? A one way ticket to Nigeria should cost between £400 to £700 depending on the airline. Anyone that truly wants to return to Nigeria from the UK will make that in a month or less foregoing every other thing and return to Nigeria. If you go to the UK Government and ask to return to Nigeria they will put on the next available flight back to Nigeria they’ll rather do that than you coming to claim asylum. Too broke to return ke’ !

In this same UK? Don't let anyone deceive you. The worst is, you take on a care job with a certificate in "Level 3 Healthcare course/training" online, find 2 good references and you're good to go. Which can pay a minimum of £1,400 a month after Tax/NI. The problem with most Nigerians here is, they like to oppress their neighbours, show off and impress people at home. At the end, they have nothing to show. Most important: Make sure your japa is "legal" 26 Likes 3 Shares |
