The meeting is holding at the Bauchi Governor's Lodge
The caucus of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently meeting in Abuja to decide whether the planned National Executive Committee (NEC) slated for Tuesday will still go ahead.

Earlier, the National Working Committee (NWC) was expected to meet on Monday morning, followed by a meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) and the PDP Governors before the Caucus late on Monday night ahead of the NEC meeting on Tuesday.

However, the situation changed following the sealing of the National Secretariat of the party by officials of the Federal Capital Territory istration (FCTA) on the order of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Following the closure and efforts by allies of Wike to postpone the NEC meeting without success, the stakeholders quickly called a Caucus meeting to deliberate on the issues.

Those present at the meeting are PDP Governors, of the NWC, BoT and other stakeholders of the party.

The meeting is expected to deliberate on the prevailing crisis and decide whether the NEC meeting will still go on or not.

That party is not serious... it is not Wike that is holding them at the jugular, Atiku is doing that too. Any move to present Atiku in 2027 will give APC an hedge

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

If Wike and Tinubu can collude to unconstitutionally remove a Governor who has immunity, then anything goes in Nigeria under these lot. No be the same Wike tell INEC officials during the 2023 Presidential elections to do his bidding or else they will not leave Port Harcourt alive.

That is the least we can do. It’s obvious that no human nor spirit can stop Tinubu from continuing till 2031, the best we can do for ourselves is to be on Tinubu’s neck and continue pressing his neck to make sure he does the right thing since it is obvious there is no opposition
