We all know that Jamb may add 20 marks because of mass failure. Children of nowadays don't read their books. Social media is now the order of the day.

How about the young girl that committed suicide because her result was far below what she expected?

People should be held able for their incompetency

In sane climes, he would cap it with a resignation but not here. We can cry, apologize and even slump without any change. .

Sigh... The errors are just unacceptable and beyond embarrassing.

This is precisely the same reason INEC has been written off ahead of all elections in Nigeria.

I have already heard of 2 suicide reports because of this gross level of incompetence.

Will this apology bring those lives back?!!

Shame on JAMB. You have 1 year to prepare for the exams only to flaunt it. What is the difference between them and INEC?

Instead of this guy to face his job squarely, he was busy talking about sharia law in the south West, tell me why they won't do this kind of error.
BENEAMATA: 5:29pm On May 14
And a candidate committed suicide over low jamb score ! Good Lord ! The registrar should resign ASAP .
Would this have happened if JAMB have not been compelled under freedom of information act to reveal all questions and corresponding answers of every candidate for scrutiny ?
ShallongeV: 5:29pm On May 14
Crying does not solve anything.I must commend him for being courageous in accepting his mistake...He should make the nature of mistake public, so that people will learn from it.... Subsequently he should honourably resign his position. or be fired..For Nigeria to grow there is no room for ineptitude, incompetencey & above all shere negligence

Hehehe.

Where are the people speaking ill of the guys asking for justice. They called them all sorts of names.
Some even called them yahoo boys.

The most annoying ones are the ones who saw it from tribal perspective.
For an educator like Alex Onyia to come out on national television to speak out boldly that the system must have been compromised, shows that he must have seen something wrong, but a poor internet warrior called him useless and yahoo boy.

This shows that if we can come together and call out all these institutions in Nigeria, that they will do the right thing.

Do you mind those idiots ? How do you explain a situation where candidates that have been on honours roll call, right from their JS1 to SS3, some have even done international projects and secured scholarships offers from foreign universities due to their exceptional performance, for JAMB to now score them 158 and 170, and some idiots were on social media condemning the camdidates for crying out.
The moment I showed my son the result on my phone, he simply said "Daddy, that's not my result", and of course I knew it wasn't hos result, I knew something was awfully wrong

Interesting. So the 19 states in the north weren't affected? Or the 6 states in the south west?
