Sim shot himself on the foot and Wike has himself to blame for selling a Rebel to us a candidate and governor.
Rivers people are not happy with Sim for his style of governance which is about greed , destructive tendencies, rebellion and refusing wisdom from Elders and instead relying on Obi media ers who haven't forgiven Wike for choice over there's.
Till now no part of Sim or any governor could be compared with Wike's political accomplishment from 1999 till date

He will learn next time. cool

I can testify to that. The Akania New road-ogbogoro road that was completely abandoned by the previous istration has been completed and inaugurated. In fact, a section of that road, from road 1 to road 6 was completely closed because cars couldn't through the road.

GOV. SIM FUBARA’S LEGACIES THAT DWARF FALSEHOODS

While detractors continue to push narratives to justify the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, it is crucial to remind the world that Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s achievements in the past one year and ten months stand tall above any propaganda.

Healthcare: Gov. Fubara has revived numerous abandoned health facilities, including the remodeled and expanded Zonal Hospital in Bori, with similar projects in Omoku, Ahoada, and Degema. He also addressed the personnel deficit by employing over 2,000 health workers to boost efficiency, implemented the Rivers state Health Insurance Scheme as well as the approval for the remodelling of 153 primary health care centres in the state.

Education: His istration has prioritized education, remodeling key institutions and commissioning projects like the Okrika Grammar School and Government Girls Secondary School, Ahoada, while also working on Kalabari National College. To combat a decade-long stagnation, he has recruited 1,000 teachers, promoted civil servants, and implemented a new N85,000 minimum wage—far exceeding the national benchmark. He has also twice gifted N100,000 Christmas bonuses to the entire workforce, including pensioners.

Infrastructure: Despite political distractions, Gov. Fubara remains focused on delivering landmark projects. The 50.15km Port Harcourt dual carriage ring road, 12.3km Trans-Kalabari road, and 23.5km Elele-Umudioga-Ubimini-Ikiri-Omoku road are progressing steadily. He has commissioned critical roads such as the 11.8km Okehi-Umuola-Eberi road, 14km Omuma-Omodu road, and 23km Bori internal roads, among others, and flagged off more road projects across the state.

Beyond roads, he has strengthened traditional institutions by commissioning palaces and ed the judiciary by delivering seven blocks of five-bedroom duplexes for judges.

Security: Gov. Fubara’s synergy with security agencies is unmatched. He has donated a helicopter to the Nigerian Air Force, built housing for military personnel, and provided six gunboats to enhance maritime security. Additionally, over 100 operational vehicles have been given to the Nigerian Police, and Hilux vans supplied to NSCDC to curb pipeline vandalism. These measures have bolstered peace and attracted fresh investments to the state.

Governance & Assembly Complex: Contrary to claims that he neglected the Rivers State House of Assembly complex, Gov. Fubara had begun its reconstruction early last year, and it is now almost complete. Even the Sole confirmed the progress, exposing the misleading narrative that justified emergency rule.

The hurried decision to impose emergency rule, based on unverified reports, has raised concerns about the President’s neutrality. This move threatens to stall ongoing projects, as Gov. Fubara’s direct supervision of contractors ensured both speed and quality.

However, one thing remains undeniable before this unfortunate political interference, Rivers State was thriving under a people-focused leader.

No amount of falsehood can erase Gov. Fubara’s legacies, and in due time, he will reclaim his mission to uphold the #RiversFirst mantra for the benefit of all.
Apologies

*A SALUTE TO GOVERNOR SIMINALAYI FUBARA, THE VISIONARY LEADER THAT HAS TRANSFORMED RIVERS STATE*

~ Fubara’s resilience drives economic growth, workers’ welfare, and investment, despite political opposition’s distractions.

In the face of unprecedented political turbulence, relentless opposition, and orchestrated distractions, Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, has remained a beacon of resilience, an embodiment of progressive leadership, and a symbol of hope for the people of Rivers State. His tenure, though met with fierce resistance, has been nothing short of a revolution in governance, marked by bold reforms, economic transformation, and an unshakable commitment to the Rivers First Mantra.

*Repositioning Rivers State for Global Investment*

Governor Fubara has demonstrated that leadership is about vision and execution. He successfully hosted the first-ever Statewide Economic & Investment Summit, a landmark initiative designed to rebrand Rivers State as the ultimate investment destination in Nigeria. This summit, a legacy-defining move, was not just a conference but a bold statement to the world that Rivers is open for business, poised for exponential economic growth.

His commitment to sustainable economic reforms led to the creation of the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency (RSIPA) a strategic body ensuring that investors find Rivers an attractive, secure, and profitable destination. Within just six months, this agency sealed major deals, including attracting the Landmark Group, a milestone that will create jobs and expand the economic landscape of the state.

*Fiscal Discipline & Unprecedented IGR Growth*

Despite politically motivated distractions, Governor Fubara doubled the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from a meager N12 billion to a record N26 billion monthly. This remarkable feat, achieved without overburdening the people with excessive taxation, earned him a prestigious fiscal award; a testament to his strategic financial governance and prudence.

*A Governor Who Puts Workers First*

Governor Fubara's comionate leadership is evident in his unprecedented welfare policies for civil servants and pensioners. While previous istrations ignored their plight, he:

✔ Implemented a new minimum wage; not just the standard, but an enhanced N85,000, easing the financial burden on workers.

✔ Approved long-overdue promotions for civil servants, restoring dignity and motivation to the state workforce.

✔ Ensured the payment of gratuities and pensions to retirees, many of whom had been neglected for years.

✔ Instituted an annual Christmas bonus of N100,000, ensuring that the festive season brings joy, not financial strain.

✔ Paid the 13th-month salary; a first in the state’s history, setting a benchmark for workers appreciation.

*Empowering Businesses & Reviving the Private Sector*

Understanding that a thriving economy is built on the strength of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Governor Fubara launched a N4 billion low-interest loan facility through RIMA/BOI. This intervention has:

✔ Boosted small businesses, providing them with the capital to expand.

✔ Encouraged companies that left due to past hostile economic policies to return.

✔ Restored investor confidence in the state’s economic climate.

*A Testament to Courage, Vision & People-Centered Governance*

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has proven that leadership is not about personal gains but about the people. Even in the face of sabotage, blackmail, and an unrelenting opposition bent on making Rivers State ungovernable, he has remained focused, strategic, and unwavering in his commitment to development.

Today, Rivers State stands stronger, richer, and more prosperous, not by chance, but by the sheer determination, foresight, and hard work of a man who puts Rivers first.

We applaud and celebrate you, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, for standing tall against all odds, for prioritizing the people over politics, and for laying a solid foundation for a greater Rivers State.

As we look forward to more transformative policies, infrastructural development, and economic prosperity, we say thank you for your selfless service. The people of Rivers State stand with you!

Obi didn’t achieve 1/10 of this in 8 years as Anambra governor before he was canonized as the best thing after sliced bread, so it won’t be out of place to extend same to Fubara as the best governor we’ve seen since independence

See from my end Gov. Fubara is good but not a good politician, see those heaping praises and advising him are now the same people that went to greet the day 1.
he could have done better from day 1 without interfering in the assembly tussle and do his eye service by now he would be celebrated and have the wike camp to his side to fight any external influence but Mr. Gov was carried away by the Noise of people benefiting from him
Exactly. The man lacks wisdom, and he may live to regret his choices for the rest of his life.

He had alternatives, yet he opted for the Nzogbu Nzogbu approach.

I when Adams Oshiomhole won his governorship bid. At the time, the state was firmly controlled by the late Tony Anenih, and all the Assembly were of a different political party PDP, while Adams was ACN

But Oshiomhole was strategic—he took a diplomatic approach until he had secured both the state and key political figures. Only then did he have the leverage to challenge Anenih.

Unfortunately, Fubara came in with a deep-seated grudge and picked reckless battles he had no chance of winning.

As I once read in a Hardley Chase novel: “There is a time to fight, and a time to be wise enough to know when not to fight.”
