Because the North is a homogeneous society, while the South is a heterogeneous society. Sixteen out of the nineteen northern states speak Hausa, a common language, while the southeastern part does not have a common language, except for English

That University is not serious. How can University resumes 3rd week of November when the session closes for Xmas and New year break mid or 3rd week of December? I have somebody studying ancy there, the only thing I observed she does is the ICAN entry level exams which is an external arrangement.

I agree with this. The crop of lecturers there are not serious, ill-trained and lack teaching etiquette. The VC is even confused on how to run the school

If this index is correct,then many of the expensive Universities are overrated.
Baze University in Abuja is one of the most expensive University in Nigeria still is at number 26 in the ranking.

Yet according to Australia Government, there are only 4 Universities in Nigeria that are TIER 1.

Which are
- University of Lagos
- University of Ibadan
- Obafemi Awolowo University
- Federal University Of Technology, Akure (FUTA).

All the rest are TIER 2.

The language made them united and the religion too. Like 70 percent northerners are Muslim

no sir, that's what I thought initially.... I started my msc or mtech before my other colleagues, when I enrolled in futminna, I encouraged them to start as well, so I started like 3 months or 6 months ahead of them, two of them are now through with their masters in other Federal University, while I'm still waiting for futminna to set up external defense, we did internal defence 6 months ago.... 6 months ago oh, I don use over 3 yrs now if we are to minus d 8 months ASUU strike... Now we Don enter new year.... I can't advise my enemy to go to d sch... Never... Dem get good profs Sha

I've been itted to ABU Zaria, and I think it's time I took this opportunity seriously.

Although my preference is to study abroad, it's proving challenging due to the current naira exchange rate, making it difficult to relocate to the Western world.

Meanwhile, ABU Zaria is performing exceptionally well as one of Nigeria's top universities - in fact, it's ranked as the second-best university in the country.

Given these circumstances, I should make the most of this chance.
