AbuTwins: Na your islamic keens in the north benefitted most from it, that you people's mohammedic nature of marrying anything in everything helped over populate the country with redundant and retarded loafers. It is a testament to how islam contributes to jeopardising the foundations of strong survivability of societies, it is a cancer that needs both physical and psychological offensive approaches at least for the survival of humanity. But we Thank God for the jewish woman he used to tell the world that this fake prophet was a scum and pig. Ordinary rat poisin for a whole prophet. |

Image123:i think the issue isn't really about whether or not handing out palliative is good. The issue is, to whom were these food palliative given? Most people DIDN'T get anything and those who got anything, whatever was given was paltry enough to be assumed as completely insignificant: 1 loaf of bread, a split pack of spaghetti, 1 meal's worth of rice etc. 2 Likes |

Image123:there are one million and one things wrong with it. Palliatives is a last resort and not a meaningful solution to any problem. Nigerians should be able to afford food, not giving them 2 Congo of rice. 2 Likes |

80% of that money was looted by APC Politicians. The little they must have managed to share must be within thier APC Party .

N86m per constituency is about 1000 bags of rice (@90,000) per bag. Let's say the government gets the bags at significant discounts of 50%, that is 2000 bags per constituency. A constituency has an average of 700,000 people. If the poverty rate in nigeria is at 40%, that means 280,000 people need that rice. Let's say a bag is shared among 10 people, so 10×2000 = 20,000. So, out of every 280,000 people in poverty, only 20,000 get some form of succour, assuming the government shared the pallatives fairly. So less than 10% of the people apc pushed into poverty benefited from the pallatives... 3 Likes |

Image123:Think for a minute here and stop licking the feet of a terrible government. At N100 per meal, that amount would only provide one meal for Nigeria's poor people. So you are clapping for a government that provided a plate of rice in an entire year to the average poor Nigerian. Let's begin to use our brains and apply the primary school maths Uncle John taught us. Note, that there are more than 100 million poor Nigerians. This was a complete waste of money. |

“The government’s focus on distributing palliatives is a short-term fix to an ongoing agricultural crisis. While essential, these measures fail to address underlying issues such as inadequate irrigation systems, insufficient storage facilities, and weak market access that continue to hinder agricultural productivity across the country,” These palliative stories always look like some corruption-ridden scheme. Now that we know how much was spent, can we know what and who was given? Does it tally at a least a little? Can actual people in real constituencies confirm they got anything from this particular palliative? |

Ojuntana: PDP mismanaged our greatness as a country, putting us on a keg of gunpowder. With all the fatness, Okonjo was having headache and borrowing to pay ordinary salaries. The President GEJ told us we can't afford trains except locomotives. We're not kids if you are. |
