Damn see what my people are calling development, road that is not up to 10 kilometres. We should be covering our heads in shame if in this century we celebrate ordinary road and streetlight..

When you realize that Umahi built about 17 of this without much paparazzi, that’s when you realize the stupidity behind this post.
Your a wise man, this particular road leads straight to Nsukka his hometown which is why he made a point of building this(less than 0.5km) over to make his journey easier. Note that no other road in enugu metropolis has been maintained under this man. Worst governor in the history of Enugu.

That he built it does not equate to measuring with Enugu state in any ways. Yes, he built some stuff over there but Enugu government do not just built infrastructure but human capital development is their priority. I am more interested in Umahi developing both the primary and secondary school structure and massive enrollment of enormous population of children in that state to be moderately literate. Enugu is still very far ahead of Ebonyi state in every thing though we expected more from Enugu state government.

Are all this achievement in this 21st century or is it not their duty. Country is so messed up with such mentality roads that can last 5years because it will be bad again
Giorgia: 7:09am On Apr 10, 2022
Show us the road leading from either Holy Ghost or Abakpa Nike leading to Nsukka, even 9th mile sef.
The bumps on those roads could disvirgin somebody, after someone would take pictures of one road and be making GburuGburu noise.
I no one commit sin this Sunday morning abeg.

you naked liar. Enugu is not far from Ebonyi in everything. Enugu get stadium, Ebonyi has stadium and also building another mega stadium. Enugu has airport Ebonyi has airport. Enugu get state and federal university Ebonyi get state and federal university. Enugu has malls and fly overs. Ebonyi has more flyovers and malls as well. Enugu has park, Ebonyi has park.

The only place Enugu take Ebonyi is in human capital development or what you call number of wealthy people or spread of wealth. That is ALL.

I think the title of this post is very misleading, how can you snap picture of one road construction from different angles and post to say, " Fixing of electric lights and Asphalting of different roads in Enugu, the state government failed to fix the connecting road from old park through the railway to EEDC which would have served to reduce traffic congestion at the old park round about at Enugu North. Let's stop celebrating mediocrity.

Road construction with highly corrupt Chinese? Nigeria is doomed. Haha, I know the Chinese in the picture. I billed them 400k per month and they said it's too much while another Nigerian accepted 100k monthly. Our problems in Nigeria has to do with inferiority complex.

U cant see any good road like this Abia state...In fact if u see one,it won't stay up a year it has spoiled.

Because those people in Government in that state are wicked and heartless.

There are more potholes on the roads in Abia state than any state in Nigeria.

Shameful to see a governor battling to finish a bridge since 2014 when his counter parts used 7months to commission anairport and Ebonyi that is the poorest in the East according to statistics, has emerged stronger and better.

Shame to Abia state govt officials from 1999 till present

The installation of street lights and asphalting of the dual carriageway and other access roads at T-junction Flyover Bridge, Nike Lake Road, Enugu, being constructed by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s istration to address the challenges of traffic gridlock in the area, which had hitherto posed a serious nightmare to motorists, road s and residents of the area.

The problem here is the system is highly complex and corrupt. As a result of that, nothing works in Nigeria.
