Only a totally blind person will be oblivious of the fact that nigeria as a country is ruined as a result of fundamental ignorance and the despicable height of moral decadence among the ruling elites aka ruling chimps,like obasanjo,babangida,atiku,yaradua and even jonathan and co.

Nigeria is a country where ignorance,stupidity,irresponsibility,backwardness,corruption and all traits of human ills tend to be norms of the society and up coming children grow up assimilating these norms as models for life endeavours.

Of course,a country like nigeria where thieves,paedophiles,retards and all sorts of scums of the earth are leaders will inevitably breed the nest generation of like minded leaders,it will always remain a vicious circle of backwardness,wraths and doom,unless rational minds step in,bail the cat,sift the harvest from the weed,put the unfit leaders away and set a platform for progressive and rational society.

All the talk about elections,zoning and what have you are still the same schemes of retards in their quest to holding the country down.Nothing good will ever come out of ignorance,it's the wrath of the gods to be ignorant.

I have lived in Ghana, I have stayed in South Africa and visited Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. Nigeria is a joke compared to these other countries.

And you have the audacity to say it far better than other African countries. Have you visited other African countries? Even Rwanda and Uganda are better places with good infrastructure. Learn to leave Nigeria and experience the rest of Africa.

Nigeria can never be serious with irresponsible and unable leadership.As long as nigerian leaders and public servants keep seeing nigerian resources and revenues as honey that can be taken away from bees in their hives with impunity,the country will remain a joke.

For us to make a headway,every bit of money allocated to anybody,from the president down to the least official in the council or any public parastatal must be ed for and must justifiable,undue and unable incentives must cease to make the position of leadership less attractive to senseless and wanton criminals.

Not just politically, but in industry and infrastructure wise? I do agree with your observation of Nigeria, but its not totally barren of any progress IMO.

I am not saying projects are not being carried out at all in nigeria but that out of every project being carried out by any government establishment in nigeria,over fifty percent of the total amount of the said project will be lost to corruptions and fictitious expenditures,just like the case of bankole,the said speaker of nigerian house of honorables and the 'golden torchlights'

No amount of money is too small to be overlooked,even if it is five pounds,because if any one of them is short paid of hundred naira of their salaries,they are not going to take it lightly,so why should the masses take it lightly when they rip them off of million and millions of dollars with impunity?
