CBN should also look into the finances of IPOB and freeze their s. Those people must have strong financial backing to have survived this long. please help am having a problem with my bvn . i did bvn at zenith bank my name is uchendu ifeanyi emmanuel after 2days of enrollment i went back to collect my bvn pin. but to my greatest surprise the info tag to the bvn pin is not mine( MY THUMB PRINT WAS MISTAKENLY USED TO SOME ONE ELSE) , but rather name happiness something, age and pix totally different.for the past 6 months now i have been running round over this problem all i get FROM THE BANK is come back tomorrow while we send a mail for correction, but still yet nothing positive.please am begging any body who comes across dis massage that is capable of helping me should do please cause am abt losing moni in my to the federal government. this is the bvn number 22358238375 , my phone number 08100719059

If that money is important to you after doing your cost benefit analysis, then you would make the right decision.

In the country where you are, if they a law requiring you to get something going forward, I am sure you will do it. The Nigerian government has stated what is required to operate a bank in Nigeria, you either comply or forfeit the money. Nigeria is NOT the only country to have done this!

I guess it was this Govt that started BVN regulations or when it was started some 4/5 years ago, you did not realise it will soon be used for something. You should have taken time to read the guidelines on BVN when your paddyman, GEJ, published it back then. The system is being sanitised and we should all it.

Majority of the money belongs to the masses. i am one of them . i have an with first bank that is not covered with bvn because of one name. i was told to make affidavit and also publish it in a newspaper. everything to cost 8000 naira and i have 7000 in the acct bt cn collect only 5000 .my suggestion is that anybody with 50,000 and below should just write letter to correct it

check CBN email on their website and send them a mail, they will attend to you.
