Use an architect that has sense but no, it is baba mukaila the bricklayer you want, because he said he has been doing it for 30 years These are a few of the many “invisible” situations an architect takes into consideration: - how will they move furniture in? - in case of a fire, how will everyone escape safely? - how will the madam enter the kitchen from the bedroom without ing through the living room, in case there are visitors she doesn’t want to see? Use your head and pay professionals! NwekeUG: 5 Likes |

Was he blind when renting the house. Why not just sell if your furniture too big to fit the new house or call your furniture to make some adjustments |

I don't get the hype with virgin houses as they call it. Tiny windows, no cross-ventilation, tiny stairs, no greenery, no store, no dining area, no balcony, you have to put gas cylinder inside your kitchen. In the past balcony served as play area for us. We dey play better ball and bton for balcony . Neighbour downstairs go dey shout because of the thumping of our feet. These days your child won't even see space to crawl! You can't buy walker for your child because once you put 5seater chair and TV console, house done full! Everybody carries food into the room to eat while pressing phone and watching amebo on blogs. No parking space. People park on the street and their brain box disappears by morning. Yet landlords have mind to ask for 1.5m for mini-flat. Left to me, my first choice for rentage is an old house. Except I see a new house whose landlord has conscience. 13 Likes 3 Shares |

NwekeUG: Narrow staircases and doors are the culprits here. Building standards are steady being compromised on to cut cost. The end result is this. 1 Like |

immortalcrown: You won't blame them, the doors are always too narrow to allow for free age of these furnitures. I encountered this in my former apartment. 1 Like |

heniford2: Una don start this $tüp!d h@tė tãlks! Are rents in Enugu higher than what's obtainable in other parts of the country? Do buildings in Enugu have tinier rooms than those in other parts of the country? If so, where are your evidence ![]() Rents are currently high in every part of the country. That 1m flat in Enugu would be about 2 to 3m in Lagos. There's no way Lagos rooms for rental buildings will be bigger than those in Enugu. It's not just possible. 2 Likes |

Why blame the Landlord, isn't it the responsibility of the tenant to make sure furnitures will be able to enter the house before renting it.

dettolgel:which govt? Funny enough, a govt official approved that house |
femi4: 4:56pm On Jun 08 |
Balcony to the rescue...it reminds me of the house I rented some yrs back. All furniture n chest freezer came in via the balcony. Pathway to staircase is quite narrow

Those tenants in 1004 estate in Victoria Island--- especially those living from 4th floor and above. How did they move in their furniture? I can't imagine the stress.
