What is happening in Oke Ado ibadan? Who are the people selling off Oke Ado? Yoruba in Diaspora, when you go back home, some of you will weep bitterly for failing to forces to stop the sales of Yorubaland. Oke Ado was the wall street of Western Nigeria, it has now become Ibos headquarters from information reaching me.

This one is pained.
Igbos have developed Enugu, Owerri, Aba, Awka. It's time to develop Ibadan.

I saw someone talk about Awolowo house. I know one mad igbo boy , under 30 will buy it and demolish it or turn it into his boys quarters.

Please my brothers, invest in Dubai if you can, invest in US too , forget Nigerian real estate. The devaluation of naira has robbed it of value

The last time I went to my village, I was surprised to see the Igbo's in their numbers, we used to have Hausa/Fulani( They have their territory, then mostly NC people Benue precisely can't even encountering any Igbo's back then

Which lgbos are buying your land? Anytime yoruba sell land to yoruba they start claiming lgbos bought their land. What is lgbo doing in village like oko ado. One or two lgbo traders now translate to lgbos are buying our land

Abeg ask them oooo. They just buy some properties to display their goods and business to public space niii. Go to ogunpa and see massive people of Yoruba building business empires not to talk of dugbe and liberty road side. Igbo business are just few 1/10 compared to Yoruba business in Ibadan

It is better to buy land and develop and leave in it peacefully with your neighbors

Than

Forcefully Leaving in another man's land and killing your neighbors and making them refugees in their own land.

So Igbo style and Fulani style which one is better

You know you have a point.
Oke Ado is close to Dugbe, Ibadan's main CBD.
It's an old area and built up. I know several buildings that have been sold there. And all these buildings are either bought by people I know or at least sold by estate agents I know. And they're all Yorubas. True, there are many Igbos in that axis but they mainly maintain shops in oke Ado.

The property market there is hot but it's firmly in Yoruba hands. It's clear some tribalistic yorubas are playing to the gallery to brew problems for Igbos in Yoruba land by exaggerating the situation

Many of those buying the properties were born and bred in Yorubaland, and many haven't set foot on Igboland.

If you investigate further, it's their Yoruba wives forcing them to buy those properties to maintain family connections. So chill, these sets of Igbo millennials are not coming back to Igboland, just one visit in two or three years.

Being steady online for over a decade required Data, stable electricity and you must also be financial stable to some extent as bills can be frustrating .

Also the luxury of time is something unmatched by many.

That should answer your question

Dear Yorubas, please on behalf of Igbos I am begging you people to please come to my state and help us to develop our real estate. We need investors who are ready to buy lands at any cost and build beautiful mansions, schools, hospitals, factories, markets, malls, etc.

Yorubas love investing in establishing schools, please we need more universities in Southeast, tell Winners, Redeem, Adeleke family and other prominent Yorubas to come to Southeast and buy lands and build schools and hostels for us please. We are pleading. We need serious development and investment from none Igbos in Southeast so that you guys can help us to be pressuring Nigerian federal government to revamp our federal roads. This is the only way Nigeria can develop.

As Igbos are busy buying lands in Southwest, rich Yoruba sons and daughters should invade Southeast and buy lands there too and take over.

Owerri Imo state have a lot of lands for sale to any interested buyer; be it Hausa, Yoruba, Ijaw, Kanuri.

Awka have lands for sale.

Enugu too have a lot of lands in beautiful areas for sale

Please go there and buy lands and take over Igbo land please
