The poster is lying. You can't get that for an 8 hour shift. It will be higher than that
Trust UK people at your own risk. Na so dem dey lie thinking person wan bill dem. They came come up with anything to avoid billing. Unfortunately many of us here are doing better than them except the risk in living in Nigeria.

Full year balancing which happens as a one off once a year or so

Tax is zero percent for the first £12.5k so no way you will earn only £173 and pay £100 tax. On this wage, he should be paying almost zero tax

Well let me explain; UK is a country you go that you will pay to view all good things in life but remain useless the moment you decided to leave the country

Every deduction is not tax in Abroad. Some are contributions to futuristic social safety net. Here in Canada, P (Canada Pension Plan) is also deducted from our biweekly pay cheque. P is only drawable as a monthly payment from Canadian government once one attain the age of 65

What are the deductions for?
Maybe the person is servicing some loan(s), paying for essential services or belongs to a cooperative, etc.

Don't forget, this is just for a 8.5 hour shift. Multiply that amount by the number of days the person works in a month.

It is just a means to recover less tax deducted for the tax year. Much ado about nothing.

Understand your tax system and stop selling ignorant narrative.

That's the sad reality in UK. They tax virtually everything. At the end of the month you can bearly save anything.

Your spelling of barely is hilarious

This is not true. Tax on average is about 33% of total earning.
The payslip was obviously doctored.

Very stupid reasoning.

How do you know he can afford to relocate to Nigeria?

You don't know there are many Nigerians out there who would love to come back and restart, but cannot, due to financial reasons?

Thoughtless kid talking rubbish.

If they give me visa to UK, I will use it to enter other European countries.

The UK is one of the best countries for immigrants and their descendants in Europe. The fact you speak English is an advantage. Just ensure you have your papers and acquire skills that are in high demand and pays well.

There's good social mobility for immigrant's children. They have a very good chance of entering the middle than in , Italy and .

People come from abroad, leaving the foreign public healthcare system because of the long waiting list because they can't afford the private healthcare system abroad and chooses a Nigeria's quality private healthcare facility which overwhelming majority of Nigerians in Nigeria can't afford and have to manage the poor public healthcare system.
