Every deduction is not tax in Abroad. Some are contributions to futuristic social safety net. Here in Canada, P (Canada Pension Plan) is also deducted from our biweekly pay cheque. P is only drawable as a monthly payment from Canadian government once one attain the age of 65

What are the deductions for? Maybe the person is servicing some loan(s), paying for essential services or belongs to a cooperative, etc. Don't forget, this is just for a 8.5 hour shift. Multiply that amount by the number of days the person works in a month. 1 Like |
