Good day everyone

Please do I have to notarize this guarrantors form before taking it to port office? (Ikoyi)

I’m just noticing the clause this morning
how do you print it pls and do you think we need to go to the office with both National id and drivers license of guarantor?

RENEWAL

Thanks for this. My NIN carries my madien name, this was what I used initially to get the port. I'm going for a renewal now, do you think it will affect anything?

I applied for renewal on 14/12/2021 at ikoyi office for 64pages 10yrs, captured same day and the collection date on my slip was 17/12/2021.
I collected my port today and it was issued on 22/12/2021..
I was not the only person who collected his port early...I like Ikoyi office because they are more coordinated and fast. I can't believe it thou i paid #90k for it.
Hello bro
I also want to apply for renewal and I want it quick, like less than one week. or two weeks max.. please for 32 pages, how much do u think it will cost to hasten it, cos u pay 90k for 10yrs validity which usually cost 70-75k....
I will appreciate your reply bro. thanks..
.And can Abuja be fast too?

I just picked up my port at the Ikoyi Office.
I did capturing on 22nd of November and the port was ready five days after (Nov. 27) as stated in the port.

The advice is If you need your port urgently, stay away from DIY.

I captured for renewal on 7th December, the port was issued on 30th December and I picked up yesterday, 4th January. Breezed in and in ten minutes, breezed out with my brand new, substandard looking Nigerian international port (the quality of this new e-port is not impressive at all).

I didn't do DIY because I don't have time for any bullshit struggle. 40k for ease and convenience. 32 pages/5years.

How much did you pay? Seems you've got a reliable .
What's the collection date on your confirmation slip?

I paid 45k for 32 pages and I captured on 17/12/2021. The date on my confirmation slip is 3/2/2022 and I'm beginning to think the woman I paid did not do anything special because as of now I haven't heard anything from her.

Hi everyone,

Quite an informative thread.

I am about to process my port application but having gone through comments about people's experiences, I'd opt for port processing through an agent/official for reasons being that I need one (Fresh port application) very urgently.

Please I'd like anyone with legit s of agents/officials to please share here.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hello everyone. How do I get the acknowledgement slip?

Also, I'm unable to print the guarantor form. I always get "Application not found" error whenever I supply the Application ID and Reference Number

I captured on August 11 last year at Ibadan immigration office, I went there today which makes it the fourth time I will be going there till now my port is not yet ready for collection. Despite all the stress I'm just weak and tired.

Alausa.

Seems something is wrong with that Alausa center and with the info I am getting ikoyi is more organized and faster

I have someone who captured for renewal 10year and paid 90k in Alausa since november and yet to get it!
They kept saying no booklet .

How come those who captured in December have already picked up their ports

I can't say for sure if there is a problem. I'm guess I'm just fortunate because my told me that some who had captured before me were yet to get theirs and mine coming out in exactly 3 weeks was a bit of a surprise. She had told me even before I captured that there was a scarcity of booklets for 32/5 and I should expect mine as from January ending, so the speed I got mine was an exception, not the norm.

Any update from Ilorin pls?

I was at the Ilorin office of NIS yesterday.
I applied online for a Nigerian International port inline with the directive of the honourable minister of interior, Ogbeni Raufu Aregbesola that applicants should not patronise hoodlums for port enrollment. I went to NIS office on the 29th of December, 2021 at Apata Yakuba in Ilorin for verification. I attempted to use the court oath which they use for their own clientele base but the man rejected it insisting that I must go to State High Court. I painstakingly went to the high court and got the oath, returned to NIS office and presented the necessary papers. I was told by the officer to return in 7 days time for capturing. The 7-day timeline was yesterday, only to get there and was told that I will have to pay the sum of 6K for istrative charges before I will be captured, despite managing to scale the stress of getting and g the guarantor oath form. They perpetrate all kinds of irregularities and organised fraud openly in that their Àpáta Yakuba office. My file still lies helplessly in the collection officer's office because I cannot afford the so-called "istrative" charges of #6,000. Ilorin NIS OFFICE isn't DIY friendly. Even when you have a plugin, ensure that the person whom you'll handover your processing of port to is a very sure one.
